RPG MAKER ???

Well, I have every RPG Maker on my laptop, and if I were to make another game, what RPG Maker would you prefer it on? I aren't really bothered which one, so long as people would actually play it.
Also, I noticed a lot of people make loads of games, (Max McGee for instance...) at pretty much the same time as making another.. How do they have the time?
I'm actually planning on trying it (note this actual thread about me making another game).
If RPG Maker 2k/2k3/XP what type are you looking for? I'm gonna need to know what tilesets to actually search for to use them.
If anyone is wondering why the fuck have I put this stupid thread on the forums, it's because I'm after opinion so I can actually get people to play (my other game only has a few downloads), and that way I can generally get more people who like the game.
I'm not that bad at any of the RPG Makers, but I prefer VX because of the scripts, so I have more functions available, but I actually like the way XP/2k/2k3 are set out by having 3 different layers of tile available, to add overlap in places. I also like the way you can use more tilesets, instead of being stuck using the same graphics throughout the game.
Thanks for the feedback (if any)!

I am only ever actually working on one project at a time. Recently I popped open Blood Machine in the editor and made some minor database changes, but that is about the closest I have ever come to working on two RM games "at once". What I will do, though, is move on to the next game just as soon as (or even before...) I finish Game A.
Also not having a job helps. : (
Oh to answer your actual question VX is a stronger tool and more user friendly, but I will play games made in any RPG Maker. I will even play games made in things like Game Maker although I think one of the other engines (Sphere, maybe?) inflicted horrible fail on my computer so I can't play games made in that. Anyway I will play a game in any engine as long as it looks good.
I also don't mind the RM it's made on. Although, RM2k3 games are tricky if their developers forget to put some resources since there's no universal RTP for it. I have played some a few games on other engines, but none of them seem to have player-friendly interfaces as RMs have.
Interface is important. One of the things I tend to fuss over for long amounts of time are the controls to any of my custom engines.
Lol, my bad, Max. :D
I thought you was working on your games at the same time, by the speed you was able to release them with a demo.
Well, I might make it in VX, but the tiles are getting boring, and I can't find any decent ones worth using.
@WolfCoder- I don't know what interface is...o.O
@Fallen-Griever- Sorry about the no-gaps... XD
That can be hard sometimes, after having to search for the specific things needed in the game (I'm actually now after a kind of dungeon crawler), but in VX there aren't any good ones, and they are hard to find for 2k/3.
Well I work on my games for about 3 hours per day, maybe up to 6 depending on what day it is...o.O
I dedicate a lot of my time in trying to make my games as good as I can.
My own tastes are open. If people prefer a game a certain way, they can drop ideas, as I'm actually bad at storylines....
Thanks for all the feedback. XD

I've always liked RPG Maker 2003, though I've recently started a side-project in VX and am pleasantly pleased. Though as to which maker produces better games to PLAY, I'd probably go with 2k3, if only for the fact that I don't think that copy-pasting codes is particularly endearing if applied liberally (not saying EVERYONE who uses VX or XP does this, but the majority of games I've tried out... yeah)
Yeah, probably am. But still, I think a lot of what bothers me about VX is that most of the scripts I've found are just scripts to get AROUND the obvious flaws in the maker itself (ditching the hideous backgrounds for battles, having more chipsets, etc.)
No offense, but you don't have any idea what you're talking about. Most of the scripts I've seen in VX games do things that 2k3 could never, ever even DREAM of doing, (at least not without unimaginable, back-breaking tedium).
I suppose I haven't been looking in the right circles then. Consider my criticism respectfully withdrawn until I spend more time with VX then.
