HELP - MESSAGE PROBLEM

OK, I have gotten a couple of messages in my VX game to show up with some pretty good things in it. I test play the game, and I have the following problem:

But, the very next message after has no problem and is done the exact same way as the first:

This is all that's in the event, btw, just so you can see if it's something ~prior~ to the message I'm doing that's making them conflict with one-another:

Any ideas peeps?

That Y things is supposed to be there or not? If not, take it out. Otherwise, what seems to be the problem again?
Nevermind, I'm an idiot.

I assume you're pointing out the 'not going onto the next line' part of the message, yes? Hm. Not sure what the problem is. Maybe try adding another 'space' between the lines and see if that helps any, otherwise it may have something to do with the variables. That's all I can think of.

You may have to wait until a better VX user comes along.

The problem here is that the first message is showing up at the ,bottom of the screen, even though I have it selected to show up in the middle of the screen. This is the only event I am having this problem with, by the way... I'm not sure if it's being caused by the Variable thing or not, but this isn't the only person to have Variables in him.
I am so confused... -.-
