there is a musical bug in rpgmaker XP. none of my music if working.

Its with the program itself, not the protect, what should i do?

i tried redownloading it and i still have the same problem. sound effects are working but music isn't

try importing the song into your actual game folder instead of the RTP

i did, but even the songs the game comes with doesn't work

Well Id ont really know much about the formats for XP. But one thing I will suggest is checking that your sound card has not got the option "midi" muted. Have you got a sound card or is it on board? Also, can you play the songs outside of the RPG Maker using media player or whatnot?
