Iv got an error where the game doesnt crash it just freezez after a cutscene.

I have set up the normal switch erase event and also an scripted to erase the event at the end of the script but the game just wont let me move and none of the buttons work to open the menu and stuff.

Im using rpgmaker 2k3.

Check your terrain passability?

Also make sure there are no other autostart events running in the background.
Fixed it. Turned out the hero wanted to move one more tile left.

However I thought that end event proccessing would have erased that.

It never gets there - it was waiting for the hero to finish moving.
I don't think that is the case.
as far as I know, after it has given the route to whatever event is moving, it moves on to the next command.

but if the "ignore impossible movements" tile is unchecked for the hero, and it's walking into a wall, it won't be able to move unless whatever's in the way is away, or until a new move event overwrites the old one.

also, end event processing ends the event script, not the movement of any event.

If you tell it to wait for something to move, but there is an obstruction in the path you gave, it will wait until the obstruction is gone before it proceeds. If it's something immobile (such as a tile or even an event without a movement pattern) then your game will halt as it waits infinitely for the move route to complete.
See this is why you start and end every move event with that "Start ignoring shit in your way" mode. If a bad move route appears you know where it happens or if some random moving event gets in the way or they get ambushed by a tree or something well no problem you're golden! The event will keep on trucking!

(getting the hero out of impassable tiles might be a problem)

Wish I thought of this sooner
