I've recently decided to get back on making my own RPG webpage, and because of such, have been messing around with layouts. So far, this is what i've got (fully functional) although I think it looks a bit too square, what do you think?

It looks fine to me. It's a little spare but the colors are attractive and everything. I would however suggest you create a logo.

The gradient on your toolbar is a little too much ...

Ya, I somewhat agree with the toolbar part. Especially sinjce the banner has a streak across it, and jus a little under the banner, is the toolbar, I found that this particularly makes it look worse. Anyways though, if you want to see the page, it should be up and running at www.myersguy.newsit.es, but there really isnt much functionality to it right now.
