65 years and still no apology to the victims
Not trying to be funny, but isn't there no victims to apologize to.
That bomb wiped out the whole city.

I might be wrong but I think there was a place called Nagasaki that was maybe damaged a little but hell I dunno.
The U.S. dropped 2 bombs on Japan. One on Hiroshima and one on Nagasaki. The one on Hiroshima is what made the Japanese surrender. They believed that we had an unlimited supply when we only had those 2.
Would the military of whatever country you're from like to take their place to show us how its done?

Also, it's been a while since I've had to convert atomic bomb measurements to napalm measurements. It requires more thinking than "more napalm was dropped" if I recall correctly. The atomic bombs were merely the "final straw" though if you will, the Japanese homeland was crippled by fire, and I can't imagine someone calling the civilian deaths caused by napalm more humane then from the atomic bombs. Here's an account of a fire raid on Tokyo, for example.
Wait, which ones? If I'm saying historically accurate, by all means call me out on it. Like I said I'm not a historian and I don't want to be spouting off wrong facts.

Speaking of apologizing those Japs did quite a lot of war crimes during the war that they don't even acknowledge (much to the anger of neighbouring countries). So why apologize for the most AWESOME BOMBS EVER DROPPED?
Also as an aside isn't it crazy how the US completely and totally castrated Japan from an Imperial, honor bound warrior/military state, to a country, while prosperous in its own right, is no longer even legally allowed to have its own military, literally ever?
I apologize for my grandparents bringing the atomic assbeat in retaliation of Japan going full retard and sneak attacking Pearl Harbor.

You must know that 'to end the war,' wasn't the only reason. Don't try and shift all the blame onto Japan.
America pushed for a FULL surrender - which they knew they wouldn't get. They wouldn't compromise, even though Japan was wanting to end the war before the atomic bombings. In fact Japan put forward terms virtually identical to the ones accepted after the bombings which America chose not to accept. Japan was being reduced to rubble anyway - they were running out of food and oil and knew defeat was inevitable, the bombings weren't militarily necessary. I don't think an invasion was either.
Also America couldn't afford not to bomb a country after they had spent billions on the project. Japan was the perfect guinea pig, and though Truman could justify the bombings of Hiroshima because of the military base(even though way more civilians were killed than any kind of military force), Nagasaki was just...
It's hard to conclude whether or not it was the right thing to do but even if you think it was, thousands of civilians were killed and deserve to be berieved :(
