I felt it was neat enough because it was completed. I like to randomly throw completed games on there when I spot them.
Glossy Magazine Feature :o
Did you have to pick a game that isn't...fun, all that much?

I'm sorry that I felt an action RPG written in a custom engine and recently completed was deserving enough to be pinned on the frontpage. I'll make sure I only pin 10 minute long RM2k3 games with awesome SNES rips.
Like anything else, we can pin game pages. It's up to the administration entirely when it comes to pinning things.

Basically, live with it. =)
Man, I totally want you to pin that RM2k3 game if it comes out. Nice choice!
if i make a 10 minute long rm2k3 game with awesome SNES rips will you pin it

will start tonight
Actually, I was going to update that review based on the game being complete. If the things that absolutely bugged me about it in the demo were fixed, then it might even be

or better.

I hope to have the updated review up sometime before the end of September.

EDIT: Oops, my bad. You were probably referring to your review that had the same score.
Shit happens.

(Those that have been around RMN for awhile might remember Quintessence: A Blighted Venom getting a feature despite getting panned by Brickroad.)
I was on the verge of asking what is the process of which stuff gets pinned on the main page, whether it would be reviews, updates, etc.

So I'm guessing it is on the complete whims of the higher ups?
Staff reviews are (almost) always pinned once approved.
Events (especially minor forum events like DOING IT) are pinned.
Staff articles are sometimes pinned.
Site announcements and changes are pinned.
Featured games get pinned
SNEWS get pinned

After that, yeah, staff use their best judgment to pin relevant, interesting or pertinent site news (such as that Glossy Magazine Feature). It's not like we just pin things willy-nilly.
Thanks clarifying things. The initial confusion stemmed from the fact that I remembered one of my reviews being pinned and one of my games reviews not being pinned, even though neither of us were staff reviewers/important people.
I like that it got put on the feed. I tried it out, and it's actually pretty addicting. I'm a little sad I'm the only one that commented on the game since its release.
