CloseI need someone to write a script that can be use to keep track of quests and will show an option in the menu for it and show the objectives and such for it. Also I would like it to show quests that are in progress, completed, and failed.
And if someone can do this then please let me know what I need know to establish quests with it and make is so that when you do one thing the objective (or one of them) will be complet or the quest will be completed or failed, thank you. ^^

I think there's an article about that here on this site. Just go to the writing section. It's on RM2k3, so if you're using that, it's helpful, but otherwise google.

This has been done before, by one of the smartest scripters I've ever come across in the VX community. Like Aten said, Google is your friend (and you should always talk to your friend before posting for help ;D).

It's not about talking to him, it's about the fact that I think he wants it to be written instead of using one someone has already made. O.o
and could you give me a link to that, seeing as searches don't really seem to work well in forums, and I really don't feel like going through every page. O.o

I google'd "quest log in rpg maker xp" and this was the second one. Your not supposed to press "I'm feeling lucky" then give up if you don't find your answer.

With all due respect, man, we don't really feel like doing work for someone who hasn't even tried. And instead of getting something custom written, it would be much easier on you and anyone who potentially wants to help script for you to just use a prewritten script and modify it. The chances of someone custom-writing a script for you, especially when several scripts already exist for what you're asking for, are pretty low. Modify one, however, is a job more scripters would be willing to do.

It's not that I have a problem with looking because I don't, I'm just trying to avoid having problems with my team members since I could of used one I found before but he said not to and to get someone to write one instead, so that is why this is up, not because I have a problem looking for one. O.o
Also, is there any that you would suggest? (as I could find alot, but not all are necessarily good.)

There's a link to a pretty popular quest log system. It's pretty easy to use and probably easy to modify. Also, if you have any questions about it or modifying it, the creator of it would be willing to help (or seems like he would be, anyway haha).
