CloseI've been looking into building my own website recently, and I'm wondering if anyone here knows of any good resources for this.
Ideally, I'd like to make a webpage with a webcomic style format, or what "read online" manga sites use. For example:

Anyone have any advice on how to get started with something like this?

And for finding yourself a free web host for starting off with:
http://www.free-webhosts.com/free-hosts.php
(I would suggest http://0000free.com/ )
If you don't want to start from scratch, there's probably plenty of frameworks and scripts out there for what you're wanting to do already. It'll just require a bit of searching.

For total beginners I usually suggest the video tutorials over at CSS-Tricks. Video #58 is what I'd watch first if you have zero html/css knowledge. Afterwards you can move over to the ones where he builds a website from scratch, and things like that.
