SO I WENT TO SEE THE LAST AIR BENDER...

Worst $15 I ever spent. Could have bought some decent takeout with that instead. I can't even begin to describe how horrible a movie it was. The normal complaints are already there, but, my god, INDIANS are fire benders? Really? And not just that, but fire benders NEED FIRE in order to bend in the first place? "soccer" is now a serious emo? AND somehow, Katara is teaching Aang how proper bending forms instead of the other way around.

Did the jackass director even SEE the animated series? Good lord. I walked out of the movie somewhere around when Zhao kills the coy fish, and AANG is wandering around like a asshole instead of BEING THERE and going into a unstoppable rage and wiping every firebender out.

So has any of you guys seen it yet? Thoughts?

Not in the series they didn't. Even foot soldiers made their own fire.

So anyway, if you haven't seen this yet, DO NOT GO. I'm warning you. And if thats not enough, will a SEVEN PERCENT ROTTEN TOMATOES AVERAGE convince you?

No, they need heat. Some form of heat. Body heat is apparently enough, but usually they draw it out of the air. It is touched upon in the series. How could they bend heat if there is no heat? They don't create heat, just like water benders don't create water (and Kitara carries some with her at all times) they just focus heat into fire.

Also man, there was this one bit in one earth village where the earth benders team up and there was like, and AWESOME bending sequence with them stomping the ground and stuff, I was ready to be astounded with all that movement, only to see that after all of that all they managed to do is TOSS A PEBBLE. Not a rock, not a giant boulder, not a slab of earth. ONE pebble sized rock.

Well, here you aren't allowed to take any bags or anything with you. You have to check in bags in at the security and check them out when you leave. When I asked why, they said it's to "stop people from taking video cameras in and pirating movies".

So there you have it.

Not worth the $2.50 I'd be saving xD
