NEED SOME MUSIC?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone would like some original music for their project?
I've only been composing for a couple of years, but would like to get some experience in writing for games,
and I thought this might be the place to get it.

it'd mostly be orchestral - I don't have a lot of experience in other genres.

Here's an example of what I do. It's something I composed that I thought would be fitting for a lighthearted adventure kind of thing:)

Edit: Just a couple more examples - they both have parts that I'm not happy with, that should be changed though.

If you recognize the opening melody in this one, you've probably played "Mass Effect" - the other themes are my own though - also, the last minute and a half are somewhat chaotic, not sure what I was thinking:P

Only one, eh?
Either not many wants some original music, or I suck at this, LOL :D

Well that's fine, at least your project will get my full attention, Auroren_Sky :)
How did I completely miss this thread? Maybe it should have been in he artistic section. What program do you use? I like the quality of your sound samples.
Yeah, I wasn't sure whether to post it here or in the artistic forum - but there was another thread here where someone offered music, so I thought this should be the place.

as for what I've used in those pieces; it's a mix of several sample libraries - for the pieces posted, I used:
Cinematic Strings
Project Sam Orchestral brass
Project Sam True Strike 1
EWQLSO percussion
VSL woodwinds
VSL brass
Cinesamples Hollywoodwinds
and good old Voices of the Apocalypse

oh, and to those I've promised music - I know it's taking a while, and I will get around to it, I'm just a little swamped with this and work (just got a deadline on something that has to be done sooner than expected, so it's taking up most of my time - hope you all understand)

EWQL has hands down the best sounds and I'm definitely buying one of their packages as soon as I can. What sequencing program do you use?
I always have a problem trying to find any good-sounding musical instrument samples. I'm going to use my Z80 and FM program to at least generate some for my sequencer, but I also want some conventional instruments. I'm still missing some good electric guitar samples, piano samples, and percussive stuff. I'm going to use soft FM frequency algos for the strings and background melodies. I'm also thinking of using a Sega-Genesis-esque guitar FM wave to accompany the real guitar. There's already a kick-ass bass FM wave I'm sure you've noticed on Genesis games that had good music.

Even better if I figure out how to offload some tracks directly to my program to get pure algorithmetic sound vs. sampling since sampling kills synth quality in stuff like this.

GM.DLS is so 90s-sound-card it drives you insane.
Hell yeah ,i coudl def use soem music for my game .At least a kick ass battle theme.
