SNEAK SYSTEM HELP.

Hello, I'm working on a game that involves a sneak system, I am using variables and switches. It works great but the problem is when the hero hides and waits for the enemy to pass and then walks out of the shadows, even if the enemy is all the way out of the way the "caught" switch gets triggered. I've tried everything I can think of and still no change. If you know how, please help. Thanks.
Without looking at your logic, it would be really difficult to determine the cause of this problem. If you would like, you can send me a PM, or post the event's text here. Are there any scripts involved with this system?

True, without the Event, noone will be able to help you.

You could always use this: http://rpgmaker.net/tutorials/128/

That produces guards, the only problem being that they can technically "see through" objects, but you can get around this through smart use of variables and switches.

I'd be interested in knowing exactly what solution you have in mind. I've instead tried to adapt the environment in my ongoing game.
You don't even have to see his systems to know he isn't using any sort of "range" technique. Hr probably just has "if x =" and "if y =".
