I've been making sure that different party combos will still be effective against the boss of my demo. As I have discovered a mix that blows my intended "best strategy" out of the water, I think the answer is a resounding yes.
Trying to think of some believable puzzles for my horror game. I'm thinking about just stealing some of the less ridiculous stuff from resident evil (who puts that sort of stuff in their house?!).
Same ol' same ol'. Working out the database of SInister Saga in anticipation of the actual intro. I hate long intros, so i'll try to make it as less boring as possible.
Just finished my game. Time for postpartum depression.

^ I like to play this. :)
Reverso and I brainstormed a little Frogger-like game during the weekend. There ain't much time left but I'll try to finish it for NaGaDeMo.
Expect cuteness and gore :)
I've just finished writing out the plotline of my game in greater detail, and I've created biographies and main events for each of the playable characters and main villains.

At the moment, I'm still struggling to get my FModEx script to work, but I'm considering to just give up on it entirely and use the default midi music. With my knowledge, it seems impossible to get custom battle music to work right.

Also, I've finished the game's starting location. It's rather basic, but I guess it'll do. It's my first game, after all.
Porting an interesting dungeon generator to something more usable however turns out that not having ever looked at the language it's in before doesn't help and it's perl, it should be useful if I get it working though particularly with a few modifications.

Been running my mind to get back into Story of Ligara, the only rm2k3 game I have left that isn't on Ace.
Trying to get a demo together for Company of Hearts. No screenshots, since I read that we weren't supposed to do it, but I'm about a third of the way to giving you guys the demo-ey goodness.

A lil idea called Wild Fate. Using picture portraits, anime style. The pics are from some japanese vx game, I can't remember what, honestly. Some game from Vector. Hmm. Grimoire Hearts, that it.

http://www.vector.co.jp/magazine/softnews/111022/n1110222.html enjoy.

And last time I checked, I was translating stuff in the database for the game, I forgot to
continue.

lol having a sound error bug that's there, properly a missing file, it usually happens sometimes when I download japanese games.

Adjusting enemy movesets and doing some last-minute testing for this NaGaDeMo demo
I'm making puzzles for my survival horror game. It is surprisingly hard to make puzzles that would believably be in a real world setting. So I'm not.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Puzzles where you have tools and you have to figure out where to use them are pretty doable in a real world setting. You know, Zelda and Wild ARMs type stuff. Use a lighter on the right lamp in this dressing room full of mirrors, and you can create a beam of light that goes through the correct hole into the room below. Then in the room below you can use a magnifying glass on the beam of light to turn it into a heat ray, and burn through a locked door.

Really if you're having trouble coming up with modern-day real-world puzzles, you just need to watch more episodes of MacGyver. Or if you want puzzles in the form of dialogue, maybe watch Burn Notice, where the puzzles are more about tricking people instead of the mechanical problems so common in MacGyver.

Just random thoughts!
