I was personally disappointed by the games on the famitsu website.

Beside First Seed Material, are you guys aware of any Japanese communities where people share their games?
I'm considering translating Les Yeux Sans Visage to Japenese (as practice) but I can only find blogs, not forums.

I'm close to halfway through translating Jeanne Action (for those who can read French):

RE: the accents / special characters, i think you need to change to a western european font. if it's 2k3, use this utility to change them to the default RM2000.fon and RMG2000.fon in your font folder

I believe that is a kansai accent they tried to capture with those kanji. I hope this helps!

Grand Intention. Looks good, i'm just playing though, even though i don't understand anything.

My god, benos, that's not the story... that's just the news...I was going to translate what you posted, until the more i read, the more i realize it's not the story. What you posted was just him talking about the spriting of the pants being a little bad because he had intended the characters to wear their pants low.

Below IS the story (background) of Grand Intention. (I will translate when I'm free):

目の前が真っ白になった。

大量の雨が額ã‚'æ‰"ち付ã'、時折、耳ã‚'劈く様な轟音が鳴り響いた。
意識が朦朧とし、視界が霞むが辺り一面は闇。
それも見ず知らずの島。

いやâ"€ã€
そã"が島なのかどうかすらも分からない。

状況ã‚'把握するまでに時é–"ã‚'要した。
確かに、自分é"はＤＨ学校の修学旅行に参加するべく、
航空機に乗っていたのだ。
しかし、目の前に広がる光景は全くの別世界であった。

乗っていた航空機が墜落した。

認めたくはなかったが、それしか考えられるã"とが無かった。

とにかく、島ã‚'æ­©ã"う。
きっと、自分以外の学校のç"Ÿå¾'が居るはずだ。

足元ã‚'ふらつかせながら、暗い獣é"ã‚'歩く。
土砂降りの雨に疲労し、足の感覚がなくなる。

「助ã'てくれ！」

Remaking an entire commercial game with RPG Maker just for the sake of translating it? Gee, I don't know. How does that sound even remotely like a good idea to you? It would be far simpler to just translate the actual game, but that would be beyond the scope of this topic, so...

Just a bump, but for anyone who wishes to play Japanese RPG Maker RPGs, http://queserasera.sakura.ne.jp/game/rpg1.php is a great website to find great Japanese RPG Maker RPGs. :)

This website even have links to the RPGs' homepages and ratings. It's a gem!

Also, I might of found out where I got those picture portraits from, in my game Dreamwalker. The game called "Spy" in that game tkool list, epilpswich. :) Too bad the link is dead.

I tried searching for the SPY game, but vector jp links are all dead, and nothing can be searched, only information.

Got it, I just use IE, and the download worked. lol
