I was half tempted to say take a break for Christmas, but then I decided we've all been taking too much of a break as it is. I mean, we've not even had screenshots yet and were almost a third of the way there! So yeah, those of you who have time off for Christmas, do something to your projects!
Doing so right now. I plan to have the game page up soon, though I really gotta stop playing LoL its eating all my time.
I may or may not be able to continue in this :( I've lost all progress, and I'm working really hard on another game.
I shifted gears to another game, which I believe is far better and easier on both time energy and effort. I may make this the game drive game, because it's looking pretty cool right now.
man this game drive is pretty hard.. I mean in only 2 or so months, I shifted game directions for about 3 times now.
I shifted from a typical JRPG to a Dungeon Crawler but then I remembered that "battles aren't my strong point, what am I doing?" So I'm back where I started.

I had a break from developing my game, but im back... just lookin for a script that works with yanfly engine zelous and makes it so some skills require you to have certain types of weapons equipd to use em. Ive found some scripts but none do exactly what i want them to do...
Sadly, I hit the biggest bump. Me and a group of friends online were working on the project, we had the story fleshed and most of the system but they all dropped out. Guess it's time to figure something else out for now.

A script that is compatible with: RMVX, yanfly Engine zealous and KGC_DistributeParameter.
The player can purchase skills, but AFTER they have purchased them, i want them to not be able to use some skills unless they have certain types of weapons equiped. So you cant use FireSlash unless you have a sword (any sword) equiped. But the skill still appears in the list its just greyed out.
I'm looking for it but while I look try this idea: YEZ can make weapons have autostates right? If so then make skills require a certain state, then make the weapon that the skill needs a blank autostate. Example: FireSlash reqiures the character to have the Sword state before it can be used and all sword give characters that state when equipped. Tell me if this works.
If my explanation sucked then I'll post a demo using Yanfly engine melody to you.

To everyone else, do not be disheartened. Games are started and restarted all the time arond here, it doesn't stop things being released, at least not all the time.
I'll be honest, I am wanting to make a Streets of Rage/ Final Fight/ Turles in Time styled brawler for XNA, but that involves either kicking my coder friend's arse big time or learning C# and then XNA - and I have never programmed before.
For this Game Drive, I'll most likely just make a tradtional RPG in RM2k3, but at the very least I will try to use custom graphics.

Anyway, im using 'Yanfly Engine Zealous - Battler Stat: RES' Cause i hate the fact that Spi is res... ): Anyway, whenever i buy a weapon that increases SPI it increases my RES aswell. ):
I have a Staff that gives ya +5SPI and +2ATK On the equip screen when im about to equip my staff it says:
ATK 10 12
SPI 10 15
DEF 12 11
RES 11 15
AGI 11 11.
