I love to play the games here, but I have a problem.

I bought a Dell PC for a while back. I love the improvement from my ancient last one, but still this one do something strange when I play these games. Note it's just when playing these games, and it makes me a little frustrated. Please if anyone can help me I'd love that!

The problem is that when playing the screen "blinks". Sorry if the english is bad :) I don't know what is wrong. The blinking is regular. It makes my eyes hurt. Any suggestions?

My little santawish :)

Thank you all creators for wonderful games! Your effort is much appreciated :)
Ah, I have something like that happen when I play some games too. I think it may have something to do with my screen (LCD) as it didn't do it on my old '98 screen. Or the framerate. It can get annoying but I've no ideas for you on how to fix it, sorry.

Yes! It's LCD and it didn't happen on my old screen. But I love that screen! Right now I'm playing Myth Xaran, and it does it all the time...

Someone else know how to fix it?
Update your video card drivers and DirectX. If you aren't sure what video card you have go into the Run dialog (Ctrl+R) and type in 'dxdiag' and click on Display. Use that information and Google to try and find updated graphics drivers.

You exploded feeble minds.
I followed you through direct x, but I don't know what a video card is exactly...
..
A video card displays images for you. Here's the official definition: A piece of hardware installed into a personal computer to allow it to send video signals to an external output device such as a monitor.
And the drivers are what let your computer talk with your video card. Video card drivers are often buggy early on so they usually need to be updated if you're having trouble. The dxdiag program will say what video card is in your computer and then you can get the appropriate drivers for it which will hopefully fix the issue that is causing the game to flicker.
