MAP FILES NOT IN PROJECT

Hey, I'm having a bit of trouble with my project. Whenever I create a new map the Map.lmu file does not appear in the project folder. I have about ten or so maps and the project has no problem running but where the hell are the files and will they run on someone elses computer? This is also true for some of my resources, for example; my system set is not in the project folder but is found in Rm2k3's database and I can use it no problem.
I'm running Rm2k3 on Windows 7 (which I'm brand new to). Thank you.

Well, windows 7 does all kind of strange things to older Rpg maker programs sometimes. I'll check to see if it happens to me to, but one thing I find annoying is when you try to test play in full screen, Windows 7 will some times freeze and go to the data dumping blue screen and restart your computer.
Ok thanks. I've uploaded the project in my locker files. It's called "Glyph.rar". Can anyone download it and check to see what works and how many maps you can access? Also can you check on how many maps there are in the editor? Please and thank you very much.

Yeah, as I said, Windows 7 is mysterious because at first I saw a few maps, but then when I opened editor, all the maps vanished. I recommend that you right click the program file and make it compatible with windows service pack 2. Then check off disablescalling on high DPI settings. This way Windows 7 will treat it like a weaker program, and then maybe your problem will be solved.
You = lifesaver.
It's fixed the problem completely although with a repercussion. All the games I've created since going on to Windows 7 got wiped clean, like a brand new project. A system restore brought everything back so all I need to do is copy everything into an old project from my XP computer and re-copy back into a new folder. So if anyone else has this problem, there is your solution.
Thanks for your help mate!
