Closeok, so i run rm2k3, and i wan thing of making my own custom menu, i was wondering if anybody had any basic verison that they could sample

It's not really something that you could just drop into your game. You can find some tutorials by searching the web

Here's one. All it really is is a map that you teleport the party to when they press a certain button. Change the hero's image to a cursor of some kind, throw in some pictures, code the events, etc. Not to tough if you already have a good understanding of rm.

Some of the games on these sites you will find have some sort of custom menu system in it. Try looking at those for a basic idea.

Well, the next demo is coming out on March 24. I will end up creating a topic on this so you will be able to know when it is out.
Hmm. You may want to use the default menu, and then just have extra features either be accessed by other keys (such as number or symbols) or as switch items/skills. Depending on how your game works, a CMS might be more effort than what's needed.

Hey Ocean, is there a CMS tutorial on rmTutorials? I looked for hime, but I didn't find one.
I think there's only a show choice one there, and a party change system there. I didn't find any others, not under Templates either.
I dunno where to find a CMS tutorial at the moment. I'm sure there's gotta be one somewhere.

Try http://www.blade2k.net/ There are a lot of tutorials there, and I am sure there is a CMS one. They are fairly complicated, I have tried several times, only getting one decent one made.
Wasn't worth the trouble I thought, but like Ocean said it would probably be best just to use other keys for your extra stuff and keep to the default menu.

very true, when i first started studying the ideas used in the games found here, i was lost, but then after a little trial and error, it all makes sense.
