I'm kind of bad at explaining myself, so bear with me! I'll try as best as I can.

What I'm looking for is a script or a bit of code that makes certain battlers totally transparent during animations.

Think (here it comes) Final Fantasy VIII, when a GF (Summon) was called, all the actors turned completely invisible until the animation was done.

The thing is that I need it to do slightly more than that, I need to be able to pick which actor I want transparent during a certain skill. So if I use the skill 'Braver', I want Actor 1 (Kumo) to turn transparent, and once the animation is done, his battler turns back to full opacity.
So during the TARGET animation, change the battler's opacity to 0 and once done change it back to 255.
I also want to be able to have the entire group disappear, so maybe having something like 'if skill 87 is used, change battler opacity actors ' (all of them).

This may seem odd, but I've given it a LOT of thought and I think this is the simplest method. I have tried picture commands to hide the battlers, but it looks corny and unsightly. This way I can create Limit Break/Summon animations easily without having to worry about changing the entire battler sheets for every actor in order to have them 'disappear' during animations.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

In RPG Maker XP you don't need a script. Just start editing your animation, then click up where you make sound effects and screen flashes, and choose "hide target". You can choose the duration to hide them.

Note that when you are setting a spell's animation, you give each spell two animations. A "user animation" and a "target animation". If you use this method in the "user animation" then it will hide the caster. If you use this method in the "target animation" then it will hide the target.

Please, guys? I really need this. You can ask anyone, I'm always iffy about asking for help, and I only do it when I'm desperate. I'm stubborn like that.

My previous post puts it simply- I want to be able to hide the user during the target animation, or possibly the entire party.

This is for RMXP, and I know most people don't use it, but I really need help here :c
When must the battler become visible again? Straight after the end of the animation? I remember you are using Minkoff/DerVVulfman's animated battlers, so what are their movement settings when you are using those skills?

None, I don't have moment settings set for those skills. They operate like normal skills (casting animation) and that's it.

The battlers need to become visible again at the end of the animation, yes.

(also I didn't know you were on RMN! Hi *waves*)
