I found this artwork by looking up a book that a college professor of mine once mentioned called Ashanti to Zulu: African Traditions. So I didn't directly know about Leo and Diane Dillon when I was looking it up but yes their art is good shit indeed.

I don't remember where or how I got it, but I love it.
What I do remember is originally it was a google search result that had THIS FUCKING WATERMARK through it.
Stock images, otherwise.
Eventually, through some shenanigans I don't remember, I got a version untainted by the 123RF watermark.

I'm not sure what's more jarring: Alucard and Kamina in the same picture, or Alucard and Sonic All Stars layered on top of one another.
I haven't been able to keep my desktop fully clean in such a long time, because oddly enough I've been constantly working on things. Picked the current background because it reminds me of home, in the outports of Newfoundland.
Haha yeah now that I think about it, it's honestly a hilarious contrast (the latter contrast about SAS).

It's Haiku. One of the few surviving alternatives that is not based on BSD or Linux. The included applications are really high quality.
I use it mostly for web development because it has nice editors, and a rather up-to-date browser.
