As you're probably unaware/maybe aware, nukei and I are creating a freeform RPG, titled Journey. We've reached a stage in our workload where we've decided that it would be greatly beneficial to the quality of the game if we bring more people in.
Right now, Project Journey consists of the following members/roles:
Chaosbahamut123 (myself): Game Writer/Designer
nukei: Programmer/Designer
Dando (no RMN account): Concept Artist/Spriter
EmoChu (no RMN account): Soundtrack Artist
So we're looking at bringing in more people with skills outside of the expertise we already have. If you want to join us, please message me or email me at Green_Mach@hotmail with a brief summary of what you can bring to the team, as well as a showcase of your work, if possible. This showcase will be shared with the group, so they know who we're bringing in.
Right now, we're really partial to bringing an area designer in, as well as roles like that. If you're an area designer, a mapper, spriter, or animator, please get in touch - we'd love to have you on board.
I hope to hear from you soon!

Some information concerning the game:
Engine: RPGMaker VX/Melody
Genre: Adventure/Fantasy
Journey is an open-world Fantasy RPG, in which the player interacts with the environment in a real and visceral way. Even the smallest decisions they make can have grand consequences, ranging from shaping lives to determining the fate of a town or city. Over the course of their experience, they will meet numerous NPC's labelled 'Friends', that can be recruited into the party.
The game features several traditional but expanded systems, such as Morality and Affection. In the case of the former, the player's actions will not determine whether they are 'good' or 'evil', but instead value that action based on the seven cardinal virtues and vices. Furthermore, each Friend will have their own values that influence how much they like the player, as well as interactions with other party members.
Journey also features a Quest system, split into several categories. For example, the Guilds that the player is a member of will provide several short 'Expeditions', that range from simple hunting quests to more deep and challenging events that require the player to do things other than gather X items or kill X monsters. Friends provide their own special Expeditions based on their own Affection, and they - as well as the player - can embark on their own, personal, continent-spanning Journey.

Aw, hell. I cannot believe I posted this in the wrong forum... *headdesk*
Could one of the mods move this to Help & Requests, please?

Um, could you add like a list of jobs you want to fill or something of the sort? Also could you add a description to each describing how much work needs to be done in the job. For example, let's say someone wants to make sprites for the game, about how many sprites are you looking for to be created. Also I'm not asking just for me. This would be for everyone looking at this post to give them a better idea on the positions you need filled.
Sounds like a plan. Lesse... We have a spriter, but she's also our concept artist, so I may ask her about changing focus.
The roles we definitely need are as follows:
Battler Artist (Monster Design for Side-On Melody Battles)
Area Designer (Mapper)
Spriter
As for workload, it's pretty intensive on all sides. We'll need several large maps as well as smaller self-contained maps for houses, guilds etc. Spriters would be tasked with designing 4-direction walking sprites for generic NPC's, player characters, Friends, and sundry other things. They'll also have to design battler sprites for the Player Characters and Friends.

Great, a VX! I'm going to make some maps with rtp to show you my skills as a mapper (and also I'm going to make with it a qucik game. Maps are not just screens).

Wish I could help, but the position I want to help with is already taken.
Which position is that?

Programmer/Designer
It's probably for the best anyways, I don't really like rgss scripting. Also, I didn't see that you were going to use melody, which is fine, but I like to use/make my own scripts to use.
