CloseSo I finally put all the effort in required to hack my PSP and get it up to the latest m33 custom firmware version. This shit is amazing, like total videogame overload! I've already tried numerous PS1 games and they look and run great. Some of the more popular PS1 games can be downloaded already in the EBOOT format so you don't have to make them yourself from the iso files. I've also put plenty of of SNES, NES, and Genesis roms onto my memory stick. Some of the SNES games require some tweaking to run at full or decent speed, but most work well. All of the NES and Genesis games I've tried run at full speed. Damn I wish I would have known about this sooner! Well I knew you could run emulators on a PSP for awhile, but I had no idea how awesome it is having 20 years of gaming history in my pocket.

Yeah, I've been running hacked firmware on my PSP since the very beginning and it's really a great way to expand what is (for me, at least) a system that is otherwise not particularly appealing.
Actually, I finally played through Suikoden I and II by running them on my PSP. It was great. Apparently, playing PSP games off the memory stick makes the loading faster and uses less battery. I've only really tried it with the Japanese version of Crisis Core for four or five hours, so I can't comment on that.
I've been looking for more PSX games I can play on the PSP, though.

That's ironic...Suikoden II is what I'm playing on it now. And yea PSP sucks as a console if used for its intended purposes, which is why I only recently bought one...purely to play classic games, although I may have to check out CC and the GTAs.

Just put "PSPISO" in Google Gredlen, should be the first link. I love my PSP because playing Final Fantasy IX and stuff is amazing haha, but it's kinda sad how something as big as God of War Chains of Olympus barely sold.

Ummm I don't think this is true. Internet nerds pirate a lot of games but the general population doesn't (they have morals). The NPD results aren't out yet but I wouldn't be too surprised if GoW broke 1 million and I would expect it to have sold at least 500,000 in its first month.

I also disagree with this. Most of the games people play on their hacked PSPs are pirated PSP games and not emulated games. A lot of people (myself included) play a lot of ROMs for a week or two but the novelty wears off quickly.

This is correct. Another benefit is that the system is much quieter. I believe the newer slim models have faster loading and are quieter and have higher battery life when reading the disc, though. However note that newer firmwares have made the PSP greatly more efficient in recent months and the gap in life between memory stick loading and disc loading is shrinking. I really wish that the PSP would support install of games on a memory stick legally, and maybe require that the original PSP disc be inserted for authentication or something.

Your feet will be fine but you will get hemorrhoids. This is actually not an urban legend but is true. Try to limit your pooping to 15 minutes or less or the last 40 years of your life will be truly, tragically miserable.
To prove this you should do research on the squat-style toilet. In countries where people squat instead of sitting on a ring while pooping there is almost no incidence of homorrhoids. In America however the rate is about 40% of men at some point in life.

There is a wiki somewhere with some useful guides. It's a fairly complicated process because it's hard to determine whether you have the right stuff or not. Goooooooooogle
