I need help with Yanfly engine melody
Neither the built in "Slip damage" Function, nor <hp degen: x> or <hp degen: x%> work.
Battle Engine melody is in Active Time Battle mode.
The scripts im using are:
Modern Algebras multiple parties script
YEM Core fixes
YEM Custom Message
Yem Equipment Overhaul
YEM Item Overhaul
YEM Status Menu Melody
YEM battle engine melody (part 1-5)
YEM new battle stats
YEM Debug menu
YEM Iconview
YEM Icon Library
Arranged in that order.
Thanks for any help.

Well, since you have mostly YEM scripts, and the only not YEM script is MA MP,
I am not sure. Try putting Modern Algebra's script below main, (to stop it from processing) and see if it works. I do not have these problems with YEM. Are you sure you put the scripts in right? I would try re putting the scripts in the project, or put them in another new project to see if it works. when you do that, make sure that you don't copy the YEM scripts from the project you are working on now.
This probably doesn't help much, but maybe people can help if you gave us some more detail. After you have done that tell us how it went.

If you're using any system but the basic turn-based, poison will only work if you put an expiry condition on it. It'll also only happen every few "clock ticks" rather than every time you attack(but that part's intended). BEM isn't without its flaws...

Anyway, tell us if this is working, or you understand now.

Im really busy right now, so i wont be able to re test anything till later, but,
ive tried adding an expirey condition (after 9999 turns, 1% chance...) but after 10 or so "attacks", still 0 damage was done by the poison... I also tried leaving it for 5 mins, came back. no poison damage was done. ):
Also, i forgot to add Synthesize Items - KGC_ComposeItem to that top list. But i doubt that has anything to do with it anyway..
The melody scripts are arranged the same as they were in the demo.
Ill try removing the other scripts later. Thanks for your help.
Well not to ruin the quality of your game, but could you switch it to turn based?
I don't know. All you really have to do is modify a variable....

Try setting the expire chance to 100%.
... It worked. Melody is randomer then i thought... Of course, the poison damage happens every half turn or so, so i have to decrease the damage done...
Thanks for your help. Till next time a script screws me over, ldida1 signing out.
