HOW TO DO YOU CHARACTER SPRITES IN RPG MAKER XP?

Hey guys, I got another question and I am trying to make some character sprites and does anyone know a website with a ton of variety( I already know about http://www.geocities.jp/kurororo4/looseleaf/) or do I have to use mspaint? Any help would be appreciated.

You could either use the slightly limited style of that website, or you could learn to sprite using mspaint or other image software... I do not personally use XP, but....
