I love your work! ( I am from Venezuela :3 That's close enough to Mexico. \end of random) Terms of music?
Well, right now im willing to make any soundtrack that any user may need but as i said, with a fee (mostly because i need it), so, i saw other similar posts (not in this forum) and the musician charge 10 dollars per theme, so i will do it for 8 dollars each theme, how about that? But only if the theme/ song is less than 5 minutes, if the song/ theme is more than 5 minutes then the charge will be for 12. Please tell me what you think about it.
I think that's incredibly cheap :u
If I wasn't so busy and trying to save for food money I would totally support you!

They are good, but if I were you, I wouldn't be rushing into this site and asking for a fee, for most people wouldn't shell out the cash, as for most people, well, what they are using are free engines, and they most likely don't have the cash. This, in my opinion, is the worst way to get it. On a site where free stuff is made, more or less.

On the contrary, this is an excellent deal. Every once in a while someone comes around looking for commissions, and every once in a while someone finds what they're looking for. And there are some here who are indie game creators on the side (like, trying to make a commercially viable product) that would be very interested. No need to discourage that sort of aiming higher by shunning anyone who thinks about money.
So I guess to Mr. Moreno, I hope you find someone willing to work with you. The Tower piece is especially excellent.
Thank you all of you for your support, so many coments so i will try to say something for each one...
1) The reason why my music is cheap is: Because, even if im good with the music, i dont have experience and i almost has nothing to compete with the other music composers, and even for that cheap price is still hard to get clients, i already have post this kind of topic in similar forums like this, filmmaker forums, video games forums, magazine forums, etc... and its very, very hard, not only for me, for all the composers there, but its not a law that in indie forums people will not want to buy music, i can tell you that the clients i already have (and are paying the fee) are from the RPG Maker community.
2) As psy_wombats said, every once in a while people dont care about that cost (because is cheap, and i know that the price is very cheap for the quality of the work) so they make the decition for paying the fee. And, by the other hand if they have (or dont want) the money they said "Hey! I will make you scripts for music" or "I will make you sprites/ draws/ battlers for music", sometimes when i need it i accept hehe ;D
Im sure that in forums like this there are people who dreams about become a worker in the game industry like i do, and i will tell you something, people like us need to forget about working with Nobuo Uematsu, Akira Toriyama, Hideo Kojima, Yoshinori Kitase etc... because they already have their own people, so, people like us that dreams "someday i will be like those people" need to work together and grow together, who knows if the next Kojima is in this forums! Thats why im posting this kind of topic in places like this, maybe i will have look this day.
PD: Oh, sorry if there are english mistakes, english is not my native lenguage haha

An opinion, if you want(?) : if you want to come out of the lot, don't (it's strictly my opinion) make your music too "rpgmakersong" like. I've noticed, rpg games do quite well with really "strong" musics : jazz, rock or others (really!), don't hesitate to make some really original music, also (my take on music for rpg games!).
author=chanaLiar! (joking) I actually think musics like that ruin an rpg sometimes. SOMETIMES.

Anyway, I would pay the fee for music just to have the music! Not just to be used for my game. I would pay for music even if the game was free! It doesn't matter about that you stereotypicalizing (yes, I made up a new word) people.
I am a professional Neologist. (:3 You can't even have that as a career!)
Also, this post wasn't aimed at you Chana, just based off yours.

Hey I thought you were the expert
While those are excellent Symphonic pieces, your true mettle can really be put to the test with battle themes. Can you create one of those truly memorable battles like Nobuo has done multiple times? Everyone has heard the FF7 battle themes, (anyone who has played an rpg) and they are quite definitive and easy to remember. Can you create a theme that people will always be able to tell apart from others?
... Sorry for that, lol. I'm just in one of those sagacious moods. Keep up your good work.
For an example of Nobuo's most recent (and some of his best) work, check out the Lord of Arcana OST, where he does some of the tracks in it.

So im still willin to make music, the true is that in this forum are a lot of good projects, in other circumstances i would do it for free, but i need food on my stomach so...
Also, when you agree and i make the music, you can do whatever you want with the music, but i will still own the score and other rigths, and i think its the normal thing always but i was saying just in case hehe
Have a nice time!
