I am wondering in rpgmaker 2k3 if I can make an enemy closer to the players take more damage than the enemies farhter away? I also want to know if the enemy is closer it deals more damage? Thanks in advance for help.
I can think of any way to do that but...

-Try making clones of the monsters.
-If you place a number or letter at the far right of the monster name The player won't see in game. (Goblin 1, Goblin 2, and so on.
-Have a set of clones with a notably lower Defence rating. (Monster F)
-Place those clones closer to the player with the high Defence (and maybe lower attack) clones in the rear.
I was wondering because I want certain attacks to move enemies back and forth.
You might be able to pull that off using status effects in VX. RM2k3? I have no idea.

I could provide you a special way to do this, using an inofficial pre-version of my Revolution Patch. Among other stuff, you would be able to retrieve information about the position of enemies or heroes and also move them. You could then adjust the enemies' defense according to their position using a battle event.
