Can't believe I'm making this topic =o= but after seeing this rather touching video,
I can't help but ask everyone what they regret the most?

That I never finished an RPG Maker game.
I'm..actually kind of serious here. I mean, I made bad choices with regards to higher education and this girl I liked but everything seems to be working out now. Guess it's been a good life...

Joining this forum... no, kidding.
My biggest regret is hitting that old woman in the face with a door by accident... I felt really bad.

Oh yeah, not being interested in learning to play a musical instrument as a kid.
I forgot that.
And choosing Latin as a foreign language to learn instead of French or Spain.
Also having spent my first years in German RM communities was waste of time, too.

Same here unfortunately. 8U
I'm glad I've ended up where I am. If I went back and changed this or that, the course of history might've changed and I might not be who I am now. Even if it did cost ten years of nothing-really-happening, I'm glad for the end result.
I suppose a more harmless regret is that I didn't step outside of my introverted RPGMaker boundaries ten years ago. Never finished a game and never played other people's games. I'm seriously behind on the eight ball here.

Maybe, not having the opportunity to study music when I was a kid.
yeah i kind of wish i had asian parents that forced me into piano lessons or something.
Not me. Actually I asked to play the piano as a very small child, I was really enthralled by music but was never granted my wish (if I hadn't liked it once I had started and wished to stop, I could have any time, I didn't at all have that kind of parenrs).(What a thing to answer!...)
Not doing many things because I care too much what other people think.
It's never too late or too hard too hard to learn music. You just gotta have time and patience. Don't be frustrated with "I can't play this" be proud of "I practiced today" Don't think "I can't afford it" (after you get the instrument, that is).
If you have enough patience, I believe you can teach yourself most instruments in ten minutes a day.
Most of the things that I once regretted are now appreciated for the lessons they taught and the shaping of my character they later influenced, however some things are just hurtful. For me, these types of regrets involve jaded lovers. I tend to get with the wrong people and in the past had a history of inadvertently sabotaging those relationships.
One lovers quarrel ended in an epic "I'm keeping all these friends and you can't see them anymore because we decided we hate you" deal, where almost everyone I had known for years before sided with my ex (whom they had only known for the duration of our relationship). To this day I'm still sensitive about sharing the details, though I stand by the fact that I did nothing wrong.

I agree with the music thing, but I also wish I'd pushed harder to get into sports. Maybe I'd have better team and people skills now if I had.
I'd still be one hell of a nerd though :P

I regret not spending more time with family not telling them that I love them more often, taking them for granted and getting easily annoyed at them, it's only when you lose people in your life that you realize what you had...
I regret not learning my own lanauage (cantonese) and not bothering because now I can hardly communicate with the older generation of my family especially my grandma, she's getting older now she's already like 91 yrs old I'm thankfully that she still remembers my face and name she's getting more senile within every coming day.
Those two are my biggest regrets, but also I guess not trying hard enough in school to prove to myself that I am more than that.
