LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'm not sure why anyone would suggest anything is impossible in RMXP. You can write your own code. The only limit is your programming skills.
If you wanted to, you could make it so when you select New Game, it literally closes the window and loads up Doom 2.
It's cool to see someone having actually done 3D though. Do you have a link to the scripts they used for that? (The animated enemies are less exciting since Atoa's CBS, Tatenkei, and Yanfly's Melody all let you easily create animated enemies.)

No I do not have the scripts for 3D usage, but if you can contact the youtube's account user, he might have them. I'm just now discovering all of this. I originally found that 3D video when I was looking for a fan made games of Zelda and Castlevania, kind of interesting what else you can find on youtube. I found a few RPG maker games that are not listed in this site as well.
If you'd pay attention, you'd notice that the second video, i.e. the one with the 3D, is done in rm2k3, so the only thing you'd find would be event code pendling through tons of pre-rendered panorama/pictures.
Not a very good way to make 3D features in a game I might add.

Oh, well, I found a game (a mario rpg fangame) that uses 3D graphics in RMXP. The 3D graphics are rendered in another program, exported to png images to automatically make working charsets and battlers and tilesets and such, and then imported to RMXP which can cycle through the different frames of animation with scripting.

Because it's done this way, it's not "functional" 3D - the camera can't change angles. But it's a big step up from RM2K3.
To do actual 3D you'd need to program actual 3D rendering capabilities into RMXP or RMVX, instead of using the built-in graphics systems. Which is definitely possible, it just makes me wonder why you would be using RPG Maker in the first place if you're using none of its features.

There was once some projects to make 3D possible with RMXP and VX (dunno if they're still on). One was about making use of an engine named Irrlicht. What it did was something near to what LockeZ said. It used the RMXP Player process for, let's say... initialization and "communication" (like an interface between the things in the "maker" and the "output"). Then opened an extra window, where things are rendered separately according to the stuff that the RMXP player "sends".
It's like having a client and a server. You have the original player doing all in the background, and the window that you will see and interact with.

Also, it's not really 3D, but if you want something somewhat-similiar, you can try the Mode7 scripts from MgCaladtogel (NeoMode7 and H-Mode7).
Anyway, it's possible, but beware that's not a walk in the park,
