PLEASE TELL ME RMN LIKES HIP HOP!
Posts
Oh, man. I'm sort of into this genre of music myself. Noteworthy examples that come to mind off the bat are TLC (I think this one's more of an R&B group) and 2Pac. There are others, but I can't seem to list them right now.
Oh, and here's some Ice Cube:

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I don't like normal hip-hop for the above described reasons. They are all about the lyrics, and the lyrics mean nothing to me.
For the same reason, I do absolutely like nerdcore hip-hop. And so to you fellow nerds, I present: Captain Dan & the Scurvy Crew. PIRATE HIP-HOP. My bitches, you will want to listen to this.
First up, the best rap battle between a crew of pirates and the British royal navy I have ever heard.
Next, a fine hip-hop song about muskets.
And finally, an innuendo-driven piece entitled "It's All About the Booty."
These guys have three albums of original music. I own them. They are the only albums I have ever bought with money other than Final Fantasy soundtracks.

One of my favorite artist, Mimi Page, made some back vocals on hip hop songs remixes. These are the only hip hop songs I occasionally listen to.

Eh, never been a fan of hip hop myself, but if you guys do watch X Factor USA, these guys, Astro and Chris Rene, are the future hip-hop artists to watch out for (particularly Astro). Their auditions:
Of course though, Eminem's rapping is totally at the top.

This should be the default response for anyone who thinks hip-hop's only about drugs and ho's.
And then there's always instrumental stuff like TOKiMONSTA.

I won't apologize for the necropost. I'll only apologize for not posting this a month and a half sooner. If I had been more timely, your lives in the time between Nov 21 and now could have had meaning.
Anything he touches dies...
