CloseI'm currently looking for a crew to help me get my new game off the ground. The game, is called Lithia Freedom. (Engine: RPG Maker VX)
Unlike the other games in the series, Lithia Freedom does not have a story line. Instead, Freedom lets players be just that, free. You will be able to create your character from 2 genders, 4 hair styles, 4 hair colors, and 4 classes. Although the customization is limited, it offers players a chance to create their own characters. In Freedom, players will also be introduced to the Buddy System. The system is put into place inside Recruitment Houses, where you can increase the amount of people in your party. Partake in new quests, new adventures, and new dungeons as you breath the open air when your character breaks free from the ties of the creators and falls into the hands of the players.
If you would like to help in this game where players rule, place just say so. I'm always willing to accept hard workers.

I'll map, events, sprite. Im sorry I dont have much but I just thought of it. I havn't really got to start yet. I'm going to begin working on the character creation tonight.
A lot of ideas sound good in your head until you try to implement them. You should try coming up with something you can show before trying to recruit.

I wonder how many people ever join these kinds of requests? Seems to me that people who collaborate have already been friends for quite a while. I can't imagine these blind requests having a high success rate -.-

Well, I have tried it once with people I don't really know. It never worked out. Hell, I have a hard time keeping my project group at work in school, nevermind a few people working on an RPG Maker game.
The fact is that doing this warrants no reward whatsoever and you need to offer up your free time in order to do it.

Name the info you would need and I'll gather as much as I can. I've already started mapping out Sector 1 (as it's called in-game) and won't be working on Character Creation until a friend of mine can get the starting event working. :p

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I've come close to finishing 3 different games... I don't stick with them because the stories always end up boring me. Thats why I'm dovoting this to pure player satisfaction. No story mode, custom characters, different features. That kinda stuff... Plus, I cant afford to pay people...

Not every person is aware that there are endless threads like this that never work. It's easy to bitch at them, but they are simply naive and don't know how evil the internet can be :( It's only a matter of time before their spirits are crushed and we have more angsty teenagers picking fights on youtube comments because everyone is against them.

I would say you starting looking for people too soon. Nobody wants to join up with someone who can't get work done. Do some work, show that you can handle yourself, and people might be more interested. Be a leader and have people join your team, instead of asking people to go out on a limb to help you get started. Most of us are busy with our own projects, ya know.

Ya sorry. Most of what I need done is scripting. battle system, pet system, and reserve party. Thats about it. :p
