Go here to vote: http://rpgmaker.net/misaos/2011/vote

All games that received more than 2 nominations in a given category are eligible for voting in that category.

You can check your nominations and current votes here: http://rpgmaker.net/account/misaos/

The Misaos Voting phase has begun! The voting phase will remain open for approximately 3 weeks. The winners will be announced at the end of January. This is a slight change from how the Misaos worked in previous years.

Good luck to all the nominations!

I voted before you. Bwa ha ha!
Voting now... and I'm a little disappointed at the fact that we can see the nomination count on the right, I was hoping it'll be a surprise haha. Other than that, I like how the system is now, more organized and just doing clicks, which is cool.

I suppose the Vacant Sky entry for this year is only the revamped first Act?

Is Vacant Sky going to be eligible for Misaos EACH AND EVERY YEAR? Because, pardon my French, it's fucking retarded. The same goes for AAG and Master of the Wind (this has been in the works for how many years? 6?).

So what, any time anyone uploads a new version of their game with minor changes (if any at all) a year after the first, their game can run for Misaos again?

Vacant Sky should not be eligible. The only thing that was released this past year was a new beta. I appreciate the nominations, but I don't think it should be allowed.

Although I can't speak for AAG, Master of the Wind should definitely be eligible. It was finally completed in 2011 after being in development for ages. It deserves to be in the running.

Can't speak for the other returning games, but the individual chapters of MotW are each a few hours long and have been treated by the community as different games over the years, so there has been new content each time it's been nominated...still, I didn't expect as many as we currently have. I thought one or two nominations tops. Now I know why so many Oscar bait movies open in December…that really works! ;)

Yeah, the system still has some kinks to be worked out. We (and by 'We' i mean 'ankylo') implemented the new Voting feature as a bit of a rush job to get the Misaos in place for January. Hopefully I will be able to figure out a way to modify the code to properly exclude games that should be excluded (plus looking at what awards should apply to demos, plus maybe adding a new status of "Episode Complete" for the episodic games here)
Mwa ha ha, I have casted my votes of said games of choice, but seeing how I don't play many RPG Maker games these days, my choices were limited, and thus my contribution is complete.

I look forward to the end results of said Misao Awarding Event, I will congrat the said winner at the corner of my mind, but I will boo all the ones who doesn't become the winner!

Though in regards to some of the games, they were around last year were they not? Is it kind of not fair that some of said titles are allowed to be voted for a second time? But then again, I'm not very familiar with how the rules are applied.
Tactical voting time.

(Shouldn't have displayed the vote counts on the side)
Those are not the vote counts. They are the number of nominations the game received to be voted on.

Lol, okay. Still, it gives a good indicator of what will win. I shall vote on it anyway. Thanks.
