subzero: Access Beta Aesthetic Arctic.

brandon: Replaces Boobones the Skeleton as "Brandon the Mummy", a secret character.

hyper: Unlocks Hyper Mode.

warou: Replaces Brutal the Ghost as "Warou the Alien", a secret character. Created by the developer's best friend.

Hey guys. I said that I was pushing for a late March release but it seems that it won't be the case. I am extremely creatively blank at the moment, I have no ideas left for levels that aren't interesting or functional. The only thing I've been working on is the soundtrack which is more than 90% done. I've been taking long breaks and I still don't have any cool ideas for levels. And I don't want to repeat level ideas too much.
So far, I completed development on Survival Mode, I'm halfway completed with World 4 of Type-B, and Type-A is complete. Final Challenge/Extra/Master levels not even started.

-Main Menu-
>custom main menu before character select added to the game
>"Survival" game mode added; play a variety of gauntlet levels where you have to run from AI controlled enemies
>"Extras" added; access music/sfx player, character bios, enemy/collectible/object descriptions, guides and cheat codes
>Secret character and secret game mode added

-Character Select-
>Option to disable level insights; informative messages on checkpoint touch ON/OFF

-Game Mechanics-
>New "Quickdash" move, press "A" to perform an instant dash forward; one second cooldown. Useful to squeeze out of enemy range
>Second special move, the "Slipdash". Press "S" to perform a quick, long slide forward that goes 4 tiles. Costs one Cool Point
>Pause function when "2" is pressed. Can be used to buffer inputs and analyze enemy patterns
>Balanced Ranking system to be less demanding
>Score system and "Techs" added; perform achievements in levels to get Tech score.

Few things are left for me to complete in Brutal - The New Challenges. I expect a final release and soundtrack release in late March! I hope you'll be looking forward to it!

-Option to move diagonally ala Brutal's Challenge DX
-Option to play without lives and game overs; all 1-ups become cool points
-In no lives mode you can store more than 5 Cool Points for multiple jumps

As you can clearly see, I have put a demo for others to have a sneak peek of Brutal - The New Challenges! For now there has been very few people actually playing it, but still, I just want everyone to know that I'd love some feedback on the game as of now! It really helps. :)
