The Secret World

The Secret World has a Mac and Windows version. If you have a Windows PC, then just click the big download button on this page. If you have a Mac, then click on the "Downloads" tab then select the file named "The Secret World (MAC)."

In order to play the game, you will need some form of extraction software because the files are compressed .rar to make the download a smaller size. If you have windows you can use Winrar or 7zip to extract, and if you have a Mac then use Unarchiver, which is a free download on the App Store. After installing, you have to right click "The Secret World.rar" file and select the "extract" option to get the actual game folder.

Only for Mac: Since Apple computers only allow App Store items to run by default, you might need to change your settings if the game is blocked. To do this, go to "System Preferences," then "Security & Privacy," and under the "General" tab select the lock in the lower left corner to allow changes. In the "Allow apps downloaded from:" section, click the button to the left of "Anywhere." You can now use third party applications that you trust.

To finally play, click on "Game.exe" for Windows and if you're on a Mac there should only be one file "Game.app"
