Game & Wonder - Vs Smogatha


Wonder Robot D faces the wicked Snake Demon Smogatha! Dodge falling lightning and spike balls in this game inspired by Game & Watch!

Defeat


Game A: Defeat Smogatha!
Smogatha has 5 HP, You must collect Light Orbs to gain energy! Reach 100 energy and Robot will cast Light Magic to reduce her HP. Once her HP reaches 0, you win!

Game B: Endless Mode
The aim is to get a high score! The game will keep going until you lose all your lives. You can still collect Light Orbs and attack Smogatha with light magic, it will clear the screen and increase your score.


Project
This is a game I made while practicing with Gamemaker Studio 2. I decided to go for something simple inspired by the Game & Watch series by Nintendo.

Evening Everyone!

Game & Wonder is now complete! This is small project I've been working on to practice with GameMaker Studio 2.



It's inspired by Nintendo's Game & Watch minigame, Helmet. Where you dodge obstacles and the action all takes place on a single screen:

It's made to be enjoyed in short bursts. So if you want a to play a game but only have a couple minutes to play, this is your game!
