Swoul is a spanish RPG adventure which i would like to translate in a future. It's a classic JRPG game with a frontal battle system.

The game centers in the storytell and the characters development in this great fantasy world. Counts with alot of animated scenes, custom faces, some custom charas, greats illustrations, a rigorous battle system, huge explorables areas full of rewards, and a lot of other details.

All the custom graphics and ilustrations were made for my friend Loikr.

I would like to realese soon a rebuilded demo
The demo has around 3-4 playables hours.


Story:

In a fantasy world where magic has been banished centuries ago, Swoul tells the story of Ziro, a young aspiring knight who in the unexpected turns of life is subject to an adventure beyond its limits, in the shadow of the most famous legend in humanaty: the blacksmith Faustus and his demonic swords.

This is how a series of confused and unexpected dreams plus the even more surprising appearance of an old acquaintance, lead our poor protagonist to take charge of a path that he completely ignores in a murky world of camouflaged cruelty.

Quick update - working in the localitation config

Hi there,

I just wonder to make a quick update. I been working in the project a lot but there is not a substantial advance. Specifically I been configuring the multilenguage system to get ready the game in spanish and english.

I'm using the ForeverZero's localization script (adapted for VX by Kk20). At the moment i'm just moving all the texts from the RPG Maker to the respective file where all spanish texts are going to be compacted. But also i have to change all the massage commands inside the game and start using the script's command needs to point the textes located in the lenguage file.

At te moment i can say i have done 50% from the total messages in the game, this includes a 6000 lines aprox. So far i'm just adapting, changing and moving text from a place to another, so the process of translations it's going to take a few more months to begin.

But i getting this hardly, repettive and boring task to get the game prepared from this early stage, so i can go ahead developemtn with the multilenguage included. This is going to be much better than finish the game and then start implementing the localization system (that would be a headchech and the double of work to be done).

So for now sorry to have not much to show, but this is exactly what i passing through now. I do not feel prepared to translate the game neither, but once the system will be full implemeted, the translation part it is not going to be much complicate, cause it will be just neccesary to modifed a text file.

So, let's see what happens in the future hehe.

Hello! Thanks for comment. Great, but don't worry! i working to adapt a multilenguage system, so i will post a demo in english :) But if you want to practice your spanish it will be avaiable a spanish version too ;)

The maps look nice, the story is catchy, and I like the character design, especially the white haired girl. I can't speak Spanish, but maybe since my mother tongue is Italian I could give it a try when it comes out! Good luck with the development!

Thank you :) I glad to hear it!

Yes, you are right ja, spanish and Italian are very similar. I hope to have the English translation ready by the time I release the demo.
