Elrich Damcya - The new Lord Damcya. He is a distant relative of the last lord. He did not grow up in Maderaan and only just arrived in the country after being notified of his Great-Uncle's passing. He once studied to become a Sun Priest but now largely concentrates himself on his new role. He is kind and passionate, but some say that he is too naive to succesfully rule.
Nolah Pryce - The Lady Pryce. Nolah is the granddaughter of the previous Lord Pryce and daughter of his first-born daughter and heir apparent. Her father was King Aldebert's first-born son and, as a child, she was second in line to both lordship of the House Pryce as well to the throne of Maderaan. She was disowned by the King due to a political dispute and is no longer heir apparent to the royal throne. She was missing for many years following the destruction of her homeland and the death of her family and has only recently resurfaced.
Robyn Ashford - Distant cousin to Elrich on the Damcya side and wife to Lord Ashford. She is Elrich's sole living relative and serves as his friend and confidant.
Princess Odessa Solafeyn - Daughter to King Aldebert and his first wife, the Imperial Duchess Milla. She is the King's second child and first daughter and is Nolah's paternal aunt. She is highly ambitious and married to the powerful Lord Morgan De'Nere.

Euphemia Medellin - Daughter of the current Lord Medellin. She is an unusually adventurous soul for a Maderaani noble and spends most of her time travelling abroad. She feels out of her depth in political matters and typically shies away from decision-making, preferring to let her twin sister Alessia take the lead in such matters.
Morgan De'Nere - The powerful Lord De'Nere. House De'Nere controls the capital and has a strong legacy of powerful, ambitious, and cutthroat rulers. Morgan is no exception. He controls the capital region with an iron fist and excercises much influence on most of the Eastern provinces.
Divine Justina - An Imperial Divine. Despite still being a teenager, she was chosen by the God Emperor to act as one of his representatives. In addition to being a religious figure, she is said to have political saavy beyond her years. While Maderaan is technically a semi-independent Imperial territory, she is one of only a handful of Divines who have paid the country any attention at all over the last century.
Alvin Valentia - The young Lord Valentia. While Valentia was known as a relatively weak noble house, the discovery of precious gemstones in their land has led to significant growth in the house's wealth and influence. Alvin Valentia used his considerable intelligence and lack of scruples to leverage his family's new-found wealth into considerable power by lending significant sums to less fortunate nobles.
Knights, Mages and Servants
Top Row:
Hugh - An unusual man claiming to be a knight, though he scarcely fits the profile. He was recently arrested for a crime he refuses to discuss but managed to secure his release through less-than-honorable means. His fondness for alcohol and women tends to get him into endless trouble.
Anna - A mysterious bard. Despite only passable musical skills, she never seems to have any shortage of coin. She has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Her motives and masters are unclear but there is little doubt that there is more to this "bard" than meets the eye.
Archmage Aldyn - A magical prodigy serving the Circle. Aldyn is a member of the Circle, an organization of Imperial mages. While he has extremely high intellect and an aptitude for learning, his practical magical skills leave to be desired. At the age of 16, he was the youngest Circle mage to pass the Archmage tests by over a decade and the Circle reluctantly elevated him. He is currently assigned to serve and advise House Damcya.
Leona Harvey - An attractive young woman who works as a Whisperer. Whisperers are beautiful women who act as a mix of escort and lobbyist, mixing beauty, charm, and a silver tongue into a surprisingly effective web of back office politics. Leona is particularly successful and has made herself quite wealthy convincing politicians to back unsavory initiatives with a bat of her eyelashes.
Bottow Row:
Knight Fiana - A leading knight of House De'Nere. She serves as an enforcer for Lord De'Nere when it comes time for political threats to give him to physical threats. Her looks and feminine clothing choices belie a great capacity for violence.
Knight Roderick - A knight serving the royal House Solafeyn. As a King's Knight, Roderick's primary tasks involve the protection of the palace and the royal family. He is often assigned to the security detail for King Aldebert's young, new wife.
Archmage Natalya - A high-ranking Archmage of the Circle. It is unclear what she does for the Circle as the exact nature of her work is classified. She is familiar with Anna and the two appear to have worked together in the past.
Rogues, Mercenaries and Charlatans

Lukas - Personal bodyguard to Nolah. It is unclear how the two know each other, but they are obviously quite close. Lukas is a man of few words, preferring to follow Nolah and observe quietly. He is a formidable swordsman.
Colin - Part assistant, part surrogate son to the famed archeologist Dienna Moirenne. According to local legend, Dienna somehow bought Colin while traveling abroad. While she is certainly a demanding boss, she treats the teenager more like a child than a slave and Colin has a strong attachment to her. Colin has the attention span of a gnat but is surprisingly handy with potions.
Dienna Moirenne - A famed archeologist. She is a powerful mage and an expert on magical relics but is surpringly unaffiliated with the Circle. She is harsh, impatient, and demanding, but fiercely loyal to those who have earned her friendship.
Katerina "Darling Kate" Simon - An Imperial privateer. Katerina Simon was once betrothed to an important Imperial dignitary before she chose to leave him in favor of a life on the high seas. While she has a worldwide reputation for ruthless competency, the people of Barstow speak much more favorably of her and treat her as an unofficial leader of sorts.

"Warlock" - A man who once served the Imperium as an assassin and mercenary. He cares little for politics and can prove loyal to anyone, given the right amount of coin. He is especially deadly with a katana and can use the shadows to hide in plain sight. His skills can make him a dangerous opponent or a powerful ally.
