Oh yeah, I cancelled this game on account of it sucking awhile back.
It just didn't seem like a good use of my time, but the feedback I got on it from D757gaming and theSacredLobo was extremely helpful and I certainly don't regret releasing it.

I have a lot of bitter feelings towards this game. It was in development for 15 years, and I have very little to show for it, on account of me being a perfectionist and it being reworked so many damn times. It was the first story I've ever written, and I'm not too ashamed to admit Reizt is a gary stu who is pretty much a self insert. The dialog is shit and too horny, the RTP clashes with my custom artwork, and the custom artwork kinda sucks. I like the TP system though and the battle system isn't too bad, but I agree it needs serious reworking. And rather than working on it for another 15 years, fixing it's numerous problems and making it good, simply making another game seems to be a better use of my time.

I have a webcomic called the same name as this game, and kinda leaned into Reizt being a self insert, being a more autobiographical story of my life. So in the off chance you enjoyed this game, and want more Reizt in your life, check it out on Tapas. So I haven't given up entirely on this world. Maybe in the future I'll make another game called The Eye of Vyrius Redux, and it'll be good and people will like it. But in the meantime, lol, it's dead dude. Sorry.
