The year is 1992. Or maybe it's 1982. Or maybe 2002. I don't know how old you are! The important thing is - you're a kid. All your troubles boil down to how to pass your test on the multiplication tables. Luckily you found Simple Times: an endless runner to practice your multiplication tables !

Simple Times is an entry for The Simple Times event. The game is designed for kids and the theme is applied literally ;-)

Description
Select a horse, run forward and pick the lanes that correspond to the correct answer to go as far as possible.

Controls
* Up / Down: move Up / Down
* Left: change horse, slow down
* Right: change horse, speed up
* Return : confirm
* Backspace : go back to the title screen
* F4 : toggle fullscreen on/off

Key configuration
You can configure all the keys used in the game in "Settings" from the title screen. Your configuration will be stored in the "Common" directory in the file "Settings.bin". Deleting this file restores the default settings.

(Note: This game needs an "Educational" tag.)

Comments received on the first build of the game led me to develop the following improvements:
1) When you see the number of questions you answered correctly, you need to press Backspace (or the key you configured) instead of any key. This allows you to take screenshots that requires multiple keys like Alt+PrintScreen to take a screenshot of the active window.
2) The maximum horse speed you can set is now 10 times the initial speed. So you can set higher challenge for yourself.
3) In the "Common" folder, if you increase the height of the file Horses.png the game will use the sprites in the new rows of 96 pixels as extra horses. Thus you can play as another animal or your favorite character by editing this file.
4) Unicorns !!!
