Overview

Águeda is a Gothic, survival horror game inspired by the Catholic culture of southern Spain and classic horror titles such as Clock Tower and Fatal Frame, among others.

This game is currently being developed using RPG Maker MV software. Both Spanish and English versions will be launched.

Synopsis

Seville, March 2000.

Águeda receives a letter from her mother, Dolores, twenty years after their relationship ended. Dolores warns her daughter of an unknown danger that is pursuing her and provides some instructions for survival.

"I know the burden I impose upon you—and, though you would prefer otherwise, I am the only one who can save you."

Players will join Águeda as she returns to the house where she grew up, the Hidalgo Mansion, and help her unravel the mystery her mother conceals: that of her daughter’s true nature.

The art style is very interesting and I especially love the pixel art! The colors really capture that gothic horror feeling and do a good job of making the scenes look dark and spooky without sacrificing visibility. And the character art with the big eyes is a great mix of cartoony and unsettling.

Thanks! I was really worried about visibility, so this comment helps me a lot. I'm glad you like this! :) Thanks for the feedback!
