Raiding the basement of Pialid Castle. You split into three parties. Two of them work together to solve puzzles. Eventually you're forced to escape; the amount of time you get to solve them depends on how many soldiers you killed with the third party.

You break into this prison to rescue the main character early in the game. It has a customer service desk at the front entrance that heals you, sells you items, and tells you how to find him.

South Pialid, a major city. I decided I needed more non-terrible screenshots for this game. But then I uploaded this instead

Jaran loves statues a little too much.

Sedryna is mysterious and extremely melodramatic.

He also has a passion for salsa music.

A rebel camp. The tents are a little large because they're the same size inside as outside, because it pisses me off when games make buildings a different size inside.

The world map has labelled areas, a minimap, and no battles. It also has an ice continent very close to the equator.

This machine extracts power from an ancient artifact and sends it to Lord Justin's orbital laser cannon via a huge extension cord. Yes, that is the canonical in-game explanation.

A destroyed forest temple area. I think you actually play as Cole more often than as James in this game, even though James is the main character.

Battle sprites look like field sprites, but edited into tons of extra poses.
