Oh dear...
No, I haven't forgotten about Ambassador to Earth at all. I know you want to think that, but I haven't. I've actually been working on it, piece by piece. There are a lot of things that I would love to have in my game that I have no clue how to make or where to even start, and it makes me feel REALLY bad.
Like, for example, when our heroes get ahold of a space ship and gain the ability to freely hop the worlds using it, I want to have a nice starry map with the planetary system and the ship can move between the two as the player wants. That is really stumping me.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with the completely futuristic planet!
I'm still mad at how Space Station Fritz looks.
...in other news, I'm participating in Sam's Game Drive. *sigh* OH MY GAWD, I want to be able to finish SOMETHING in my lifetime without giving up or losing the computer. >.<

The Readme to DEMO 1.0
((I have no idea if this made it into the program folder or not. Thus, I will post it here.))
Suzuricho's Note:
Thank you for downloading Ambassador to Earth! I'm surprised anyone is interested. Anyway, this project is a result of a lot of hard work, but it isn't completed... fully. I still need to make better animations for a lot of weaponry. I came up with this story ages ago (I mean when I was in middle school!), and I finally decided to do something with it. The major difference between the story and the game is that I was the main character in the story. It's a much different approach than I thought it'd be... I sincerly hope you get some enjoyment out of it, and try not to complain too much about the graphics sucking so badly.
Oh, and y'know, I have a tendancy of typing like I talk. So when you see a buncha contractions littering the place here in my ReadMe, that's why. I got in trouble for it in my English classes in both high school and college... but who actually speaks in terribly perfect grammar? I've never met anyone like that... and I like to talk a lot. Sorry about that.
With that, I give you a cookie for giving my game a chance.
-Lots of cookies, cakes, sundaes, and brownies!

Gameplay Tidbits and Hints:
Well, Ambassador to Earth plays like any other RMVX project I've seen. The directional keys move you or the cursor. Enter or Z can be used as the select/confirm button, and X is your cancel and menu button. Hold shift while walking around to run. If there are more buttons, I'm unaware of 'em.
Examine EVERYTHING, chances are you'll find something or get a little bit of text to help you learn a bit more about your surroundings. I happen to like to put lots of flavor text. Besides, it just looks like a normal bookshelf to you, but with some words attached, it's not JUST a bookshelf - it's a bookshelf in this world, with this world's contents. See what I mean? It's too help immerse yourself in this universe. I think.
Stylistic Notes and FAQ's:
1) Number 1 is no longer applicable.
2) What's with that border around the window?
---> I drew it. In paint, if it wasn't obvious enough. Look, I wanted to have graphics that I made by myself for both the menu and the in-game window. Even if you think it may look like crap, I like my squiggle window. No one else has it. That's for DAMN sure.
3) Uhh, your balcony sucks.
---> Could you do a better job with what's available in RTP on a balcony? Then go put it in your game somewhere. I suck at mapping naturally, so of course, this one would suck, too. If you have a nice suggestion about how to draw the balcony, then please submit it to me on the RMN page for this game or as a PM. I'd love actual suggestions, and not just someone spouting hatred and misjudgement over something that takes up about 2.7 seconds of actual gameplay.
4) Japanese... schoolgirl clothes?
---> Are you really going to hold that against me? Is her being in a private school on Earth not good enough justification for you or something? To be honest, when I first wrote the story along time ago, the heroine was not in a uniform. I had only ever seen one anime at the time (it was Digimon!) and I had no idea about that, really. I needed something that tied her to Earth, first off, and secondly, to show her age. She's not an adult, like Lance or any of the other cast. When you see that uniform, you know she's not an adult. Other than that, schoolgirl uniforms are kinda cute.
5) I'm curious where you got the names for your characters.
---> *sigh* I ain't tellin'. Nothing personal, but it's embarrasing. If you knew me back then, you'd know where the names are from. >.>; I will say this, though, the name of the heroine's best friend, Kirstin, is based on someone who was my best friend for years, and she met a very short, untimely end. I used her - and her real life issues - here remembering how close she was to me during the time I came up with this story. Oh, James and Melanie are real people, too. Well. Yeah. And I hate Melanie just as much as I did back then. Woot.
6) Wait, are those monsters... from RPGM2K?!!
---> Indeed. I hate the RTP monsters of VX with a vengence. I love the anime style of 2K, so I just implanted 'em in my project.
7) So the music is also...?
---> Bingo! I liked the music in 2K. Now I just need the facesets, the numerous chipsets, AND the characters... Yeah. I LIKED 2K. *shrug* If I could use the awesome features of VX with the graphics and everything of 2K, I'd have the perfect engine for me. *squee*

An Introduction to this Story, and characters!
THE AMBASSADOR TO EARTH
Characters, cast list, and other information
~Introduction~
When I was in the eighth grade, my English teacher gave my class an assignment. To write a five paragraph story - a fantasy or science fiction story in the first person. What resulted was my very first attempt at writing anything remotely story-like. My final draft was a thirteen page story involving a self inserted Author Avatar, winged dolphins that could fly through space, a sage's search for a missing princess, and the adventure the two had together.
Once I received my grade that was somewhere between a 90 and 95% due to spelling errors, I was flat out inspired. I went to my newly aquired piece of crap computer and taught myself to type just to write out more of the story. Expand it, add more characters, and make something of it.
Now, years have passed and I finally have the ability to turn it into, if nothing else, a game made in RPG Maker VX, which I have named "The Ambassador To Earth". I have revised it so many times, added countless characters, changed names, and more worlds to the universe I established before. I have an elaborate story ladder written out, which I plan on also including in this document.
~About this universe…
Earth is on the far reaches of space and is known to the rest of the universe as the boondocks. No space travel, no time travel, no "ascended" species. The so called civilized worlds have united into a council of some sort, ala Star Ocean 2. Some worlds are fantasy-like, some are highly advanced boons of technology, but once they are discovered, they are added to this Grand Council, with one Ambassador per world. (You see where I'm going with this, yes?)
~This story starts…
Emperor Bikkon Mikolov of Exe decided not to declare war on Zi, IF the Princess Alessandra Zini Pendragon would marry his son, Prince Seth. She told everyone on her world that to save them, she would agree to it, but on the night before her wedding, she fled in a spare ship. Her closest confidant, tutor, and body guard Sage Lance Migathi is at a loss, turning to his friend MattKen to try and find her. MattKen detects her mana signature, and tells Lance that she went in the direction of Earth. Lance goes to the King of Zi and tells him to stall Bikkon's rage, as he's found Alessandra. They agree and allow him to go get her. Lance takes off to Earth, but what he finds is something completely unexpected! Where is the Princess Alessandra? What will become of the war between Exe and Zi?
~CAST OF CHARACTERS
~Player characters:
Samantha "Sam" Wilder
Age 17, Female, Human
The heroine of our story comes from a little piddly town called Oak Grove, Arkansas (which is a real town, but this is a fictional version of said town). Well, no, it's not that she's from there, but at the beginning of the story she lives there. Named for one of the girls in the "American Girls" historical fiction stories I loved when I was that age. Note that Samantha might be the name I give her to tell you who she is, but in the game, the player controls all of the major decisions she makes. The player names her (and her nickname). Her decisions can make or break the story. In my original story, Sam wasn't even named. It was in first person, and I assumed the reader knew that I was the one telling the story. It's very possible that Sam is still a Mary-Sue after all these years, but I've done what I can to make her a legitimate character, even with how she was created. Sam has raven black hair down to her butt, with a part of it pulled up into a white bow. She attends a private school and wears a uniform with a red skirt for the beginning part of this adventure. She has multiple costumes throughout, including a Ballgown, a slave outfit, and a casual fantasy exploring garb. Sam isn't happy where she is, longing for something to do that isn't being teased by classmates or getting bitched out by her father. She has a crush on the cute guy in school, her best friend is studying to be an artist, and she's a depressed mess over an accident the previous week. Originally she didn't wear a uniform (the only anime I had seen was Pokemon and Digimon!) but a blue dress her father gave her. Oh, and the first day of the story is her birthday. Much like Growlanser, in the beginning, the player is interviewed to determine the character's style in battle and starting stats. Based on the player's answers, Sam is given different abilities and weapon proficencies - so in one game, she may be a squishy wizard, but in another, she could be a physical powerhouse Valkyrie or anywhere inbetween. In my imagination, she takes a balanced path that learns different basic skills, but is never perfect in any area, much like the Hero of a Dragon Quest game.
Lance Migathi
Age: LOOKS 25 but is probably over 200 by now, Male, Zinian
The Sage Lance is looking for Princess Alessandra Zini Pendragon to take back home and settle disputes over territory between Zi and Exe. When he thinks he's found her mana signature, he hides his ship on the moon and beams himself down to look around. When Sam's house catches fire after an exhausting day, and it looks like Sam will sleep through it after being so exasperated, he steps in to douse the fire with his magic and saves her, which starts her adventure. Lance was named after my favorite member of N'sync, as when I wrote the original story, I had a very big crush on him. He's a tall guy with bright bushy blonde hair and slightly droopy pointed ears wearing blue robes and a darker blue cape on top of it. Of the three male main characters, Lance is probably the one I intended for Sam to be with originally, though now I don't know. He's a magician that uses both healing and offensive magics - if you need spells, this is the guy for you. He is quiet and careful, though devoted and honest. He loved Alessandra and wants to kill Bikkon for this. When he learns the truth about Sam, he makes it his life to support her.
MattKen
Age LOOKS 20 but is only a few years younger than Lance, Male, Expri
An intergalactic celebrity and master of disguise, MattKen is a tech man famous for his music with lots of adoring fangirls. He makes all his special effects with his Melodist magic. MattKen, originally just Matt, was named after my favorite two Digimon characters. He wasn't in the original story, but he was added the moment I expanded the story the first time. A player of any instrument with strings and a pic, he has long been known for traversing the worlds and holding concerts. He is also a very close friend to Lance and knew Alessandra well enough to track her mana signature through space using the latest technology. His hair is a dark auburn on the top of his head, but the red thins out as it grows out into a splendid silver. His hair is in a long braid. He has goggles atop his head, wears a red coat and a tan scarf. He has no visible ears because of all his hair! He is sensitive and kind, but is very tortured in his heart over his sisters Nini and Helin. His revenge plot against Prince Seth motivates him to side with Sam. In combat, MattKen employs his musical powers to aid him, and he causes numerous status effects and can summon different creatures based on his musical abilities. He is a candidate to marry Sam as an ending, but I don't see them as a couple when I write them. MattKen doesn't have a last name due to being born a slave, and if he marries Sam, he adopts hers instead.
Seth Mikolov
Age LOOKS 23 but… you get the idea, Male, Expri
The prince son of Bikkon has a harem of 108 of the hottest girls from the entire universe and still demands Alessandra marry him to become his queen. Spoiled rich boy with a narssistic complex, Seth is definitely a piece of work. He is an expert with the sword and spear, a physical powerhouse with no magical abilities whatsoever. It takes a dangerous decision on Sam's part to even catch Seth's attention, but when he sees the fact that his father is in the wrong, he makes up with the party as best he can. Seth was originally "Sephy" in the first version, named after the infamous Sephiroth from my favorite game at the time, FFVII. Well, that certainly doesn't fly, so in the next version, I changed his name to Seph, and eventually it became Seth. Originally, the two main male characters were all brothers that bet on who would find the Princess first for the King and Queen of Zi. He has long fluffy black hair and wears a royal outfit. Even once he agrees to help Sam and her party, he doesn't take off his royal attire, complete with the boy's form of a tiara! He also sports a cape in a bright red. In the end, if Sam manages to marry Seth, she makes him release his harem.
~Guest Star Party Members!
(check out Tvtropes article on this. In FF9, it was Beatrix, Blank, Cinna. Y'know, they are party members but they don't stick around)
Kirstin
Age 16, Female, Human
Samantha's best friend with self-esteem issue studying to be an artist. She's overweight and has a crush on one of her classmates but won't tell Sam who it is. Kirstin was only mentioned in the first story in a thought from the first character, as she is based on my best friend at the time. I kept her name in tact and made her an official character because of her untimely end. She accompanies Sam around town to many activities.
James
Age 18, Male, Human
A handsome high school student in the same class as Sam, and the guy she has a crush on. James is an aspiring actor who does improv at the town's outdoor stage on his days off. He is very secretive about his home life, but he cares for all of his classmates. When he learns that he is the object of Sam's distant crush, he doesn't react adversely. He seems very open minded.
Genon
Age LOOKS around 50 but has to be 500 by now, Male, Neko
The leader of Space Station Fritz and a mentor to Lance, Genon is an elderly man with cat ears that fights in full tech armor. He helps teach Sam how to fight the first time in his holodeck, as well as teaches her the importance of politics between the worlds of the Zenturi System.
