This kinda messes with my whole exploration concept... luckily I have a pretty good way around it. I'll just teleport you to a new (copied) world map when you get to a different continent. You won't be able to find any of the previous items you were finding before, but I can't think of anything else I can do to get around it. I think I'll be able to transition pretty well enough too, blocking you from exploring these other continents until the time is right. It'll make it more linear than I had wanted, but I'll be honest, it was turning out that way anyhow. It aso means I'll have to finish up the levelling events for all 3 characters before copying these maps... so it'll be a while before I can tie anything together. That's the part that is going to get confusing.
I think I feel the urge to design a bit tonight, so I'll keep going with the town mapping a bit before going to bed. The town maps are a lot better than the previous two games, so that should make some people happy.
In other news, I put these games on Gamejolt. I saw a few rm games there and though 'why not?'. I should probably spend more time marketing these things to other sites... but seriously, the best audience is here. Google says so.
Crap, I totally forgot about that!
I'll look into it. I know it does a lot of other stuff too, some things I wasn't so keen on the last time I looked at it but ya never know. Thx for the reminder, FG!
