Many people complained about the last poster, and I don't blame them. Despite the Star Wars feel, I like this new one better. It's simpler, and way less cutesy.

Huh... The Zelda doesn't really fit with the Pokemon which doesn't really with the SaGa etc. Although it's all 8bit the stylistic differences are kind of large.

It's true, but I'm no spriter and it's pretty hard finding 8bt charasets nowadays. The best I could do was to not use nes Dragon Quest ones lol

I really have to agree with sbester. It's not like the game is commercial, for starters. Unless you're a spriter, there's not many options to choose from, especially when you want to make an epic game in NES style. And looking at this, I really think they blend in fairly nicely, considering I've never played a Pokemon game before in my life.

I played a first generation pokemon the whole way through, but couldn't stomach any others lol.
