I come to RMN after several days away off, and I find that it's closing down? I'm not keen on that idea, but it seems likely to happen. I have no clue where I'm going to bring this project when it does close down, but I know this game still needs a lot of work.

I got a comment recently that suggests I remake the dungeon maps. Not a fun comment to read, but probably true all the same. Then again, I tend to hate putting a lot of effort into map-making in general. Not sure why this is so, considering I took the time to edit the main character's walking graphics to my personal preferences.

While it was today that I learned that RMN was going to be closed, my work ethic has been horribly off of late. Probably because even if I figure out the precise workings of the Divine Trial, I still have the basics of the Damned Trial to worry about. Then again, figuring out how dungeons are going to work (or be re-worked) seem the least of my concerns.

The more I look at that "intro to the antagonists" screenshot, the more I think that the throne should be replaced by a rune pattern. Moot point, I guess?

I wonder how well Matsumori Days would be received elsewhere? As something that looks and plays like a "first ever RPGM game", I doubt it will be very welcome. I mean, I get the odd feeling that it's not exactly welcome here, and this place appeared more open to new attempts. Where is something like this supposed to go!?

Nothing to do with this game, but it's messed up anyway: I still have The Astonishing Captain Skull on my computer from the time I reviewed it. Now that I'm thinking about RMN games I liked, I'd better re-grab Avarice and Vacant Sky before they're gone.

Don't worry, in case you didn't read the Site Anouncement post when you came here today, it says that RMN is not shutting down.

And I'm sure if you give it some time, your game will be well received here. Stuff like this happens to everyone at some time or another...

This is what I get for not reading everything that's new. Particularly the "Site Announcements" thread. The fact that there was a lock on the "Closing down" thread should have been a red flag, but I guess I acted at the worst news before going/reading anything else.

Still, I think most of this is still appropriate. Maybe?

*Edit: I must have been writing this as Evergaurd posted. Weird how that works sometimes!
