Story:
The Revarian Empire rules the world, but there not your enemy. In fact, they are considered great rulers even if they have some very restrictive laws. You are Alex, a Farmer, Age 18 with dead parents. You live on an isolated stretch of land known as "The Frontier". They call the place you live "Frontear Town" even if only you and the friendly farmer next door live there. There is a gate to the world beyond however only someone with a Trader's License may pass(thats one of the Empires more restrictive laws)They dont need two farmers and with only a man twice your age for company you decide to split. After being properly equipped you head to the north where an old book says you can exit the Frontier. So you eventually escape after making it out of the Vortecks Underground(the only way) just barely. More bad news when you learn that an ocean is still in your way. But of course you finally get to your destination, Capital City Revaria. Since your already somewhat of a warrior because of your experience getting there some soldiers give you a job. After that you gain an audience with the king but of course a strange group called The Ultima Uprising has took over by the time you get there. And it only gets worse when you learn the Ultima Uprising is just a part of the larger and more sinister Chaos Organization and it gets very very bad when you learn the Chaos Organization is working for the worst possible person. I wont spoil anything though.

In the game there a numerous dungeons, side dungeons, quests, mini games, and much more. The game has a large world where you can visit places on your own, not just because the story tells you to.
At the end you have a choice that will change the entire game drastically

zOMG moar Fallout 3 shit

-I added a complex(just kidding, its easier than making a global switch)Lockpick and Science system. Which means, depending on your Lockpick/Science value, you could repair robots, open doors, pick locks(provided you have bobby pins)and so on.
If you have 1/4th of half a brain you would know this is incredibly easy to do. More people should do it because a lot of us were addicted to Fallout 3 back in the day

Hmm, this game reminds me of my first game in a sense :)
I like this one though, I'm gonna download this when it comes out, and possibly review it (if I have any time)
But from what I have observed, and this is mostly from experience I know what this is like, you might want to try to remove the detail curse from your maps http://rpgmaker.net/games/2059/images/10309/
maybe make them smaller, or add more useful parts to the map.
Anyway, I really like the plot, and I am DYING to know who is behind the Chaos Orginization. So, when this comes out I will subscribe (now) download, and maybe review(If I don't become to wrapped up in my current project:)
Best of luck to you, hope we get a download soon :)
Yay something constructive!
The curse is more like a plague. It spreads like wildfire.
A lot of people said it was cliche. Finally someone!
Unfortunatly you probably wont know about the chaos organizations mastermind for a while as its not revealed till almost the end of the game(there are subtle hints though)
A demo will be released as soon as i get the Theifs Hideout mini dungeon done, and spell check my crap and provide the player some way of knowing what to do as im not planning on doing the intro yet and it explains
P.S. it has an awesome bestiary. But if you play it, dont worry where it says 999 monsters. I just put the maximum so i would never run out of space. When its all done ill shorten it

The game sounds interesting... But something I have been noticing, and I'm not too sure if it's just because English is not your language or what, but the grammar I have seen posted all over the place has me a bit concerned on the outcome of the game. If it is due to the English Language not being your language, then not a problem at all; easily look-over-able.
Lol, yay. I feel good about saying something constructive. I look foreward to a demo then, and I have finally subscribed. :) And, I have to agree with kitten on all fronts: The game sounds very interesting, but some of your grammer, in the story and such, isn't proper... most of it is though. This is easy to fix, and overlook :) So don't worry too much about it.
English is my first language but some of this stuff was kind of....rushed. Before the first demo its all going into spell check and I'm going to look over it myself as well. I'm very lazy when it comes to commas and apostrophes
Question time- Are we going to receive any other party members besides Alex, hopefully some who use magic? (I am a magic obsessed freak!)
@Everguard A story required party member is not planned besides two temporary partners, however I'm thinkin of letting you do a sidequest to get 1 or 2 more. Your ability to recruit them will probably be affected by the decisions system. Kinda like Fallout 3 again I guess.
P.S. Alex can use magic as long as you find ***MINOR SPOILER ALERT*** The Hidden Mage City***/SPOILER***
Otherwise, your stuck with sword/dagger/lance/wooden board etc tech
(You can find it very early on)
Interesting choice, just remember this then: ALWAYS assume that the player only has one character(unless you know that at that point they have more) when creating monsters. Otherwise, many fights will become impossible! :)
@Everguard
Trust me, I'm going to assume throughout the entire game that you never ever got any other party member or super incredible awesome skill.
