The Bat King Eranela. My first boss.

I made a boss for the (relatively short) cave. He's pretty brutal for a first boss, or easy. It really depends on what abilities he uses during the battle. He has a nasty stun attack, and can cast 2 kinds of darkness spells: a basic one, and a mass hitting one. He's killing my level ten party, but if you are strategic enough, and slightly lucky enough, he is possible to beat. That same level ten party has beaten him really easily in other cases.
However, since I made him today, he is not featured in the demo. Not even as a secret. Sucks, I know. He will be a part of the main game (and possibly a future demo, if I release one.)

Hmm, good. It's important to have stratagies with bosses. You may want to consider creating things that could vary the battle.
For example (this is just an example!):
Diana finds a magical Bladed Staff of wind spells somewhere in the cavern, that teaches her a wind spell when equipped. However, this is hidden so some people will find it, and some won't. Hence, only some people will be able to use the wind spell in the boss fight, thus creating completely different experiences for different players.
Another tip for bosses, don't give them too many skills! If they have one powerful skill and two weaker skills, they will be more likely to use the powerful skill then if they have one powerful skill and six other weak skills.
Just some thoughts for you to consider :)
I made a puzzle door. You need to count some objects, input the number, and you get a super powerful lightning spell! The catch? It costs a whopping 1000 AP to cast!
Whoa! That is a perfect example! Some people will be willing to use up the 1000 AP and get it over with, others (like me) will be too afraid to use up all of their AP, and will just endure the battle. Good job, I assume this door is hidden and/or not required to advance in the game?
No. The boss becomes a bit ( too much) easy with the special, but it's a side thing. I should probably give him a little more hp.
How much HP does he have? And how much damage (on average) do the characters deal?
Hmm... The boss has 10,000 HP

The basic attacks are useless. They do zero to a hundred damage. The exception is Brian when he uses Berserker Fury (Causes his damage to increase by a lot, but can only attack and halves his Pdefence, while negating his Mdefence.) He does nearly 1500-2000 damage with every hit berserked. Oh, my bad. Mega Lightning uses 1500 AP!!!! Anyways, it does nearly 5000 damage. Kitty using claw strike with his powered up claws does over 2000 damage...I think I made the players TOO powerful.

EDIT: Especially since kitty just did 2000 damage with a basic attack...Time to balance!
....... 10,000!!!! That's as much as my first FINAL boss had! (Of course, my stats started much lower then yours, so they only did about 500 damage max)
You should balance a little bit, :) But ... yeah.... My suggestion, don't have the default weapons/skills/stats (I know you made some of your own, but you may want to lower some of them)
Good luck with your balancing, if you want help just call on any of us :)
Here's what I've done so far.

Eranela's health is the same.

Kitty's strength reduced...significantly. That makes claw strike only do 1000ish damage, instead of over 2000. Also, I doubled the cost of Claw Strike from 200 to 400.

Berserker's Fury has lowered bonuses, but now only halves MDefence, instead of eliminating it entirely.

Mega Lightning has gained a small boost in damage to compensate. (It actually seemed very weak at 5000 damage, considering.)

EDIT: Also, Mass Heal costs about 400 AP to deter from the "Spam heals" strategy. If you buy plenty of rentens, though, it won't matter too much.

The boss in general is supposed to be hard without being a brick wall. The right strategy will kill him pretty quick, but the wrong one will end in failure.
Well, if that's the case, you might want to make it a little difficult to get the Mega Lightning spell seeing as it halves his HP! :)
Quiz show! Or...at least a quiz.
Now what three questions should I ask, and what should the consequences be for failing to answer correctly?
Done. Now you have a quiz to answer. One of the questions is so easy, the game answers itself. The first question is simple, but the last question requires that you paid attention to a name in Deralius.
Oh no, really?
UGH! I'm terrible with names :)
Guess I'll be needing a lot of potions and rentens then
