Earthprime: The Dark Lords

Game Overview
The Dark Lords is a RPG game designed in RPG MAKER VX. It is designed to be tough. My first foray into making videogame style RPGs, The Dark Lords is featured in a universe where man, monster, magic, and technology coexist, although not always peacefully. The story is expected to be 40-50 hours long, 50+ if you decide to invest in the dozens of side quests and missions. Action is turn-base, with both the party and enemy taking swings at each other.

STORYLINE
In an era long since past...
There was a legend.

The world, known as Earthprime, a place better left forgotten, was created by an unknown entity, only known today as the Fabric. He molded it from the very essence of existence, a place which defied the laws of the universe. Satisfied with his creation, he let his daughter, Victous, fill it with Spirits, living mechanisms. However these Spirits possessed free will, able to choose their own destinies. The Fabric, angered by this defiance, sent the Seven to release the evils of the universe on Earthprime. War, disease, famine, and greed corrupted and destroyed Victous's creations. Grief overtook her and she committed suicide. Just as Hope seemed to die on Earthprime, the Dark Lords emerged from the depths.

Known as Terra, Lamaris, and Razael, they fought the Seven, banishing them and their underlings to V'ariz. They left just as quickly as they came, leaving behind Artifacts of Wisdom, to prevent the world from falling again to darkness. Peace returned to Earthprime as the Spirits of the world rebuilt their homes.

Countless ages passed...

In the 23rd age of the world, an event, known as the Fold, ripped apart the world, killing millions. Monsters have once again reappeared and an evil presence is rising. Two knights, of one the Holy Order and one of the Dark Order, fight their way to stop a man named Varamir, to prevent him from using the ancient Seversectum and to prevent another catastrophe...

...but, fate undeniably intervened.

-Dynamic game play. Tough battles lie ahead, with special enemies who require different ways to defeat. Not every enemy can be defeated by merely mashing the button..

-Explore a world with countless side quests and locations. Each place has its own story.

-Use spells and attacks to defeat over 100 different enemies and bosses.

-Equip over 100 different types of armor and weapons as you travel throughout the world.

-Look for 4 unique crystals that restore your party or gives them massive Experience boost! There are rumors of other types of crystals as well.

-Secret dungeons and hidden places. Can you find them all?
