Title Screen Update and Music

Hello everyone! I am back with another update. This time I've worked on the title screen. By using Punks title skip I was able to event my own title screen, creating better effects and a better NES feel. The gif below is a bit low quality and doesn't have as many frames as the real one, so it suffers a bit.

While looking at some NES title screens I also decided to create a new logo in the which can be seen in the gif as well. If you have any suggestions to make it more lively please go ahead and post.

I've also recruited 3 music composers to work on the music of the game, and they should come up with something shortly so stay tuned!

Hmmmm...looks more like a SNES sort of opening than a NES one...but I like it, nonetheless. It's also cool that you managed to round up some musicians to do your music, too! That's great news.

Things are slowly coming into place, eh? :D
Cool; though yeah, it feels very GBA to me (ala Mother 3). Which isn't a bad thing.
Looking over this game page, I see nothing about this game that makes it feel like NES. The resolution is way too high. Inspired by NES is a stretch, anything else is just a lie :/

To call the developer's claims "lies" is an even bigger stretch. The developer was inspired by NES games and is trying to replicate their feel. This game is clearly still in its early stages; if you don't think it's NES enough, tell him why, and he can use that constructive criticism to make it better evoke a NES-like feel in the player.
haha I was exaggerating about the "lies" and I'm not really interested in elaborating. I'm only referring to the graphics. Necropolis looks NES, this does not.

Why are you comparing this to Necropolis?
it's mainly due to the 640x480 resolution. if you want to get any low res NES feel, every 1 pixel should be essentially made up into 4. rpg maker 2003 does this by default because the core resolution is 320x240 (but has a 2x option doing the job for you).

I'm not comparing anything. I'm just giving an example of a game that actually invokes an NES feel. Your monster graphics give me a feel of "old school PC game". The chipsets look like they are for VX/XP.

The main defining factor of an NES game is the blocky graphics, if you don't have that you don't have the NES feel, imo.

Ok then... I am going for the old school feel.
