Hey guys! Just letting everyone know that Majesty is still being worked on! I have not had as much time to work on it as I would have liked, with school and work. On top of that, I was having some issues with some of the puzzles I was planning and had hit a bit of a standstill. However, I hit a second wind recently and have been working hard! This is a passion project for me and I am really excited about the way it is turning out, and I can't wait to show it to you guys. However, I really want to make sure it is excellent, so I am taking my time and fine tuning it and coming up with creative puzzles and cool environments. Its not easy! But I think the end result will be worth it.

Anyways, here are some features about the game! I don't have any new screens to show right now, mainly because I'd rather wait till you guys see most of it in game. Onto some features!

Environments: As I said above, I am striving really hard to bring you guys some really cool and atmospheric maps, with small details that show what this world was like in the past. Also, nearly all of the screens in the images section are old now, they are looking a lot better! When I get a chance, I might at least update the current images I have up there with the new ones.

Characters: While for the most part, there is only two characters in the game, I am fleshing them both out, giving them pasts and personalities, and small quirks. They are not super heroes out to save the day. For example, Laura, the protagonist, is a mother and wife. Majesty, on the other hand, is mysterious, eccentric, and rather selfish. They don't always get along! Dialogue is something I am making sure is done well.

Story: The story itself is fairly simple, but with layers that slowly peel back as the game progresses. Think Shadow of the Colossus. Starts off simple enough, but by the end of the game your mouth is gaped open in awe of its awesomeness. My story more than likely wont make you do that, but hopefully you will find it interesting and different from many other RPG stories out there. I'll release more on the story in the future.

Puzzles: Using the orbs described in my last post in the blog, I hope to bring some creative puzzles to the table. Along with the orbs, you will also be collecting a few items to be used as well. Most of these are one time items, and sometimes the must be used in conjunction with the proper Orb to find the solutions. There are eight Orbs in all, and by the end you must efficiently juggle between them and adapting when items are thrown into the mix.

Multiple Endings: Ok, well, there are only two endings. But, that is still multiple, right?

And so there you have it, all the information you could want about my game, maybe. If you have any questions, I will do the best I can to answer them! I know I had at some point said I will release it by the end of the year, but I don't think that will happen. Sorry! I won't make an estimated release date, but I don't think it will be way to much longer. Also, there won't be a demo. I just want to do one release of it. Haven't heard from this in quite a while!
Yeah, I kind of fell off the map for a while there. I should be able to keep a pretty steady pace from now on though, so hopefully I can release it in a timely fashion.
