Almost complete! YES!

I am currently designing the last area, and deciding on how shocking I can make the ending and how cliff-hanger-ish and incomplete I should leave it. Any questions left unanswered will be answered in the next part! It may be done in the course of the next few days, though I'm wonder, whether I should make the last area too long or make it short because the players will be very excited and the obstacles in the way may irritate them or something, so I'd love some feedback about the length of the last "dungeon".

True that!
I think short rather than long. If it's long the player might start to lose the thrill and become less invested and excited for the conclusion. Personally I like short ending sequences since I'm so close to all the answers. I do sometimes get annoyed when developers drag out the ending by rehashing everything they've already done just to squeeze some more play time out of it.

The ending sequence will be short alright, and be sort of a cliff-hanger, and will be continued in the next game I have planned.
